We like Columbia Harbor House, relaxing, but the menu is limited.


Cosmic Rays has a large menu, but it is not quick. Unless you can send someone in each line, it takes forever to get your food if eveyone wants something different.

Nice to escape french fries & chicken strips. Thought the rottis. chicken was good, and the chicken soup was passable. As for the Caesar salad - yeeech - drowning in dressing. What is that WDW doesn't get about salads. Why can't you get one w/dressing on the side? I've asked @ this site and was told it was unavailable?

Has anyone tried to order the chicken and rib combo meal with the dining plan (counter service)? Just wondering if this is possible....

Yes you can. It's a lot of food! The chicken was good, the ribs just okay. We also had a cheeseburger here which was very good. I think this is the best CS place we ate at in MK.

Love Cosmic Rays. Ate there three days for lunch - great burgers, great chicken, great fixin' bar (with Cheese Sauce). Give my recommendation for it!!!

Food was good but two down sides for us 1) all those lines 2) eating area was so loud and chaotic that we didn't find out meal relaxing.

We split the double cheeseburger and it was fine, good toppings bar. However, my sister and her husband split a chicken sandwich (which they had to wait several minutes for) and the bun it came on was MOLDY. She took it in stride and simply got another one, but mold it something I don't deal with very well and it turned my stomach. So, watch those buns...

Mold----UGH. You would think with the way food turns over at WDW there would be no time for mold to grow. What time of year did you go? Was it hot and humid? That could be it.

We will be trying Cosmis Ray's on our next trip. My DS is a big burger fan and the fixins' bar sounds awesome. Thanks for the info everyone.

How does it work on the dining plan will all the different lines? Could I be in one line and use Dining plan for a CS meal and DH be in another and get the kids a CS meal?

With the dining plan I was in one line getting a hamburger combo, DW was in one line getting a rotisserie chicken and ribs, and then I shifted to another line to get my DD a chicken nugget meal.

For the noise - they have doors to keep the noise mostly where the music is being played, there is also an outdoor section that was nice on a mild day.

We have always gone to Cosmic Ray's when we are at MK. We have never had a problem there and love the toppings bar.

Another vote for Cosmic Rays. It is annoying to have to go to three different lines if you all want something different though. That being said, we've never had bad food here and the kids love the entertainment. Pecos Bills also has an excellent topping bar if you want hamburgers and you're on the other side of the park.

We got the chicken and rib combo on the dining plan. The ribs were delicious but the chicken was a little tough. If I ate there again I'd probably only get the ribs. We did stand in different lines for stuff. As long as everyone has their card, they can get their own meals. I also found it best to get there no later than 11:30 am for lunch or it's crazy. We got there just before the lunch rush and had no wait what so ever.

Columbia Harbour House was my favorite CS in MK! Loved the fish and chicken combo and they also didn't make the kids order off the kids menu. We sat up stairs in the part that goes over the walkway from Fantasyland to Frontierland and it was sooooo peaceful! Down stairs was a mad house!

One more vote for Cosmic Ray's. We eat there several times each trip. I stand in one line, my mother stands in another, & we get everyone's different meals that way. We haven't had a bad meal there.

I just wish they would add pizza to the menu. Does anyone know if there's a place you can order pizza by the slice?

My son (8 years old) loves Cosmic Rays. I have been there to many times! I know most all of Sonny Eclipse's songs and dialog!

But yes the food is good. I love the chicken and ribs. The carrots and mashed potatos that come with it are very good.

My kids love this place. I think they have Sonny's whole set memorized too...
For us it's the place to go for a good sloppy burger (not what I typically eat!) Hubby and I split the bacon double cheeseburger and buy the extra bun then hit the toppings bar.

Pinochioo's House (by It's a Small World) has personal pizzas and pizza/salad combos. I have heard good things about it and look forward to trying next visit.

My kids, especially DD7, love Cosmic Rays. I think her thing is more to watch Sonny the animatronic "Lounge Lizard". We've never gotten bad food from here. Actually it has a pretty good counter service breakfast too. My only complaint with this place is the separate lines for different foods. When I went with just the kids, of course I had to stand in line 3 times because none of us wanted the same thing. Other than separate lines it's a good and convenient place to eat in MK.

We love Cosmic Ray's!! Eat there everytime we are MK. Can say I've never had a bad meal there. Even tried the Kosher meal once, it was quite tasty.
