How is Cosmic Ray's? I'm just looking for quick, good food with lots of variety in MK. Is there anything really good/really bad there? Thanks for the help!

If you do a search you'll find lots of comments on Cosmic Ray's. Basically if the menu appeals to you I think you should try it. Everyone's taste is different, so don't go by what others say!

I've always enjoyed Cosmic Ray's. There is a good variety to choose from, and I personally like the salads (my favorite is the chicken ceasar salad--but I've never come across a ceasar salad I didn't like). Anyway, give it a try.

We always eat at least once here. My DH likes the condiment bar that has mushrooms, onions, tomatoes, etc. They offer a variety. Food isn't spectacular but is good for fast food at Disney. The atmosphere is a bit noiser than others if you sit where Cosmic Ray is ... my DS loves to watch him...has since he was about 3 years ... and at 7 years still likes to go there.

I like Cosmic Ray's for the burgers because as mentioned above they have a very good "fixin's bar" with sauteed onions and mushrooms in addition to the usual lettuce, tomatoes and pickles. My DW likes the soup and salads.

Has anyone tried to order the chicken and rib combo meal with the dining plan (counter service)? Just wondering if this is possible....

This CS has the most items to choose fom in MK. We usually eat there several times but I prefer Pecos Bill's for Burgers. The Caesar Salad is really good.

Cosmic Ray's is our FAVORITE CS restaurant at the MK. Ray is the big draw for DDs. DH and I like the variety (DH likes the chicken). I also like the fact that they have some healthier options for the kids' meals (especially the chicken noodle soup).

DH and i LOVE this place we go there at least once a visit too! we are philly cheese steak fans! ooo and the mushrooms and cheese on the bar!

WOW I must have went on the wrong day , The so called FOOD was absolutely HORRIBLE, we tried to do a safe hamburger/cheeseburger meal!!! YUKKKKKKK all 4 of us were just eating it because it cost so much. Out of our trip this was the worst place ever. The mystery meat on bun smelled and tasted like I dont want to say and the fries were hard and tough. The soda didnt even taste right unless that was leftover from the food , we ended up pitching alot and my 6 yr old game some back in other ways I wont mention either.

We love Cosmic Ray's! We end up eating there at least once on our visits. There is a large varitey of food to choose from and the prices are just about the same as all the other counter service restaurants in the Park.

My DS9 is not a fan of sit down dining. He likes counter service. We went to Cosmic Ray's for the 1st time last week. We had a ball, and the food wasn't too bad for fast food. I liked it cause you can load up your burger at the fixins bar and get a more filling meal if you want it.

We eat there when we go, we actually make a point of it. We have had the salads and burgers. All good. Condiment bar good as well.

We go every trip. My daughters LOVE the chicken strips and I like the grilled chicken sandwich. Can't wait to go again!

Here's me - never knew there way a "Ray" LOL! But I like this spot because I can get the kids a chicken dinner to split. Hot meal - some actual veggies - and it is pretty good. Had the ribs in May for myself. Not so great but that may have had something to do with DD's tantrum in the middle of lunch and DS waiting until I start to eat to ask to go to the bathroom. Ugh! Good Roast Chicken - worth going to. (PS try columbia harbor house too!)

I really enjoyed it there until they took away my Stack Sandwich! That was the only thing I went there for. The food is pretty good, but it's virtually ALWAYS crowded and it can be a pain to wait in different lines if your party doesn't all want chicken/burgers/etc. Sunny Eclipse is fun to watch though, even if his jokes are corny.

We thought it was pretty good for theme park food. I was able to get the chicken and rib combo on the dining plan.

The worst part about the place is that they have different lines for different food. Luckily there was nobody in line when we went so hubby went in one line for him and 4 y/o DS, I went in 1 line for me and then had to carry my try full of food to another line to get 6 y/o DS mini corndogs.

We were satified there but if it were crowded I'd skip it, no way I'd wait in all those different lines if they were long!
