Cosmic Ray's menu

I believe that I am officially setting foot in the stupid question zone...Inspired by the best places to eat in MK thread I checked out the Cosmic Ray's menu on allears. It listed the menu by bay 1-chicken, bay 2-burgers, etc. Is that just how they theme their menu board? I can't imagine (and hope not) that they would make you go to one plave to order a chicken dish and another window for burgers. Hopefully the heat is just getting to me and you can order everything from every order station.

Nope, you are right. You have to go to each bay to order different things. It is a PITBehind but I guess it makes the traffic flow easier. The place gets MOBBED!

Cosmic Ray's is crazy enough to send the sanest parent into a catatonic stupor. Inevitably each member of your party will want something from each bay, while at the same time you must find a free table.

I think the only things that are available at all three bays are fries and soft drinks.

You'll note that even the vegetarians are not spared. Veggie wrap is not available at the same bay as veggie burger.

Just going during an off-peak time---lunch around 11am, dinner around 5pm.

Yeah we almost never eat at CR we usually eat at Casey's Corner. The only time we eat at CR is between normal meal time because the crowds are almost nonexistent.

Yes it is separate like that..BUT honestly NO BIG DEAL...I eat here every trip, sometimes more than once and with KIDS.

We love cosmic ray's--mainly because you CAN get different things, not just burgers. The lines really don't take very long. Glad to hear some of you avoid it. Makes it easier and faster for us. We even like the singing alien.

We've never had a problem either. In fact, this is one of our favorite places to eat at the Magic Kingdom! The food is great, and the view of the castle is wonderful if you snag a seat outside!

We always eat at Cosmic Rays with no problem, but then again we are burger people.

This is one of our faves, too, and honestly, it sounds worse than it is. I generally go with our 5 yr old to get a table and DH goes to the burger line with DD10 as his helper and DS13 goes to the chicken line. Easy peasy.

We didn't like it initially but it really isn't that big of a deal for us either. The teenagers always want something different so they get their own food while I get the food and DH gets the table/fixins with DS.

I think it is a bad design too, and that none of you should go there.

So there is a smaller line for us.

It is not a bad restaurant... my kids love it, but yeah... there are two lines, and the places is usually crowded.

Goodness--we've been to WDW three times and have never seen the inside to Cosmic Rays or Pecos Bills. Diehard Columbia HH fans here

Definitely a Columbian Harbour fan....Ray's not bad, you get the ribs and chicken there that you find at Falme Tree in AK, so at leats there's good variety
