Cortyard by Marriott - Marriott Village

Hi Folks

Staying at the above hotel for 2 weeks in feb

Does anyone have any experience of the hotel ?

1) How are the facilities - Room & Site
2) How easy is it to get around using their shuttles - We have no car booked presently.
3) Is there much nearby in terms of shops, restaurants within walking distance or I am stuck in no mans land ??

When I first booked I thought going by Simons book (old version) that it was in Hotel Plaza Blvd - I mean how unlucky is that, that the one hotel I choose moves to another location and sells the original to Holiday Inn lol !!!

Looked at this hotel when searching for the next trip and didnt read a bad word from the reviews- even complimenting the shuttles which you would expect to be a bit iffy according to other hotel shuttles. The site www.tripadvisor.com proved to be helpful as well as doing a general search.

~Dont take my word for it!- but all looked good!

I've not stayed at the village.

There is a Golden Corral and Bahama Breeze within walking distance.

It looked nice when we were last there (Oct 2003) and if I were staying off site the village would have been one of my choices. As well as Disney it's convenient for Crossroads, Dixie's Stampede and the Premium Outlets. There's a nice Publix nearby.
