Cortisone injection and weight gain.....

..... I've gained some weight this fall and really have done nothing different except my Aunt pointed out I have had cortisone injections into my hip. I was wondering if anyone had noticed a weight gain after these kind of treatments. I just saw my Dr. a couple weeks ago for my ulcer but didn't think to ask him about this. I'll ask him when I see him again in December, but I was wondering if any of you had similar experiences.

DW Lauri has had quite a few cortisone shots in the past few years and I don't believe she's ever had an issue with weight gain due to the shots. At least nothing like the problems she had with taking Dexamethasone in pill form for a couple of months. You never know though, steriods react differently in each person. I would call the doctor. Doesn't hurt to ask.
