CORRECTION...Fishing at Castaway Cay!

I stand corrected!! I messed up earlier about the fishing excursion! I previously asked if anyone had done this at Nassau ..... oops!

I was wondering if anyone has done the fishing excursion at Castaway Cay, that could lend some input on it!? Just wondering if it is worth the cost, so the men don't have to laze around in the sun like the women will be doing!!

We went fishing at Castaway Cay several weeks ago and it was the highlight of the entire week! We caught fish steady but the real fun was hooking into the sharks! Our group (there was 8 of us on the boat) ending up bringing a 7-foot Nurse shark right up to the boat, took pictures, and then cut the line. Wow, we were hooting and hollering with excitement. It didn’t end there – my husband hooked into a Lemon shark and had a great fight with it (we all saw it surface but couldn’t get it up to the boat). Our two boys also hooked into something big but we didn’t see what it was.

Overall, a must do trip! We are cruising again and we will sign up again. EXCELLENT and worth every penny!

Your fishing trip sounds interesting, We have a cruise scheduled for October. Can you tell me how much was the fishing trip and is that one of the excursions you sign up for on board ship.

Wow! Thank you so much for the awesome bit of advice about the MUST DO fishing excursion!!

Could you please tell me if you booked this excursion before your cruise, or if you did it on board? We plan to book ours before, but am concerned about it being so popular that it is hard to get ressies for.

We booked weeks before the cruise and I think it is around $110.00 per person - it's great!
