Correct Decision? Need some reassurance!

Hiya DIS pals!
My family is now officially at the 10 day mark! I am super excited--my DM, DB, and I haven't been to the world in over a year and my DBF hasn't been in 18 years!

Anyway--after I booked/paid for the trip in full, I called CRO to put in my room requests--we're staying at ASMu and we would like either bway or rock inn, hopefully bottom floor. CM added these requests to our rezzie, was helpful etc

Well as I said we are 10 days out TODAY, so I -could- do online check in.

I think I've decided NOT to do so, however, because I do NOT want a cc added onto our KTTW cards and I dont want my current requests to disappear, which it seems they sometimes do.

We usually arrive around 1:30/2p on check in day and usually the room is ready.

Have I lost my mind, to NOT use online check in? Our vaca wont be ruined if we end up in the country section, but both times we DID check in online we wound up with rooms there and I figure maybe the called in requests would carry more heft.

Any info/feedback would be grateful!

I think you'll be fine. At the very worst you'll be caught in a check in line behind a ME bus load of guests. I've had no better luck one way or the other as far as having requests granted. I've decided not to bother with online check ins in the future.

We always give them our requests when. We book then call every so often to double check. Found that they do not always give you what you would like. But we keep trying sometimes. The desk. CLerk really will try to make sure you have what you would like. Good luck
