corral change question

Even though we put down the same times, my wife and I registered at different times and ended up split between B & C in the half. If I remember correctly I thought it was said before they don't really care if you move back just not up in corral placement. Is this true?

Yes, moving back is ok. Your time starts when you cross the start line so if you plan on going the event together it will be just fine.
