I am assuming most people are taking a wait and see approach as Spring Break starts to arrive for US schools as well as Summer plans start to ramp up. I am curious how you are approaching this very fluid situation. Personally, we are taking a wait and see approach for our June WDW trip but I would be a bit more concerned about the near term.

Given the risks we each face at this disease spreads, will this impact your plans? There is a 70% chance you will contract COVID19 but only have symptoms of a slight cold. What we cannot measure is how it truly impacts each of our immune systems and the response our immune system provides. Regardless this is a tough decision in IMO.

If yo do go, are you hoping for a less crowded park? WDW deal for rooms, tickets and or dining? Again, you need to weight this risk against the potential benefits and I mean potential! We already hear the rumors of cast members hours getting cut back, current projects suspended and or put on hold. Does this translate to an poorer experience and worth not going? Of course this is speculative to some degree but worth thinking about.

So back to my original questions, what do you plan to do? I think this would be a topic Pete and team should discuss Tuesday and gain their perspective.

Everyone be safe and remember to wash your hands regularly, eat well, get plenty of rest and be prepared if you and your family gets into a quarantined situation.

Not on Spring Break but I think I am at the point of cancelling my Italy trip for next week. I was supposed to fly into Milan but haven’t cancelled yet as I was hoping to fly into Rome. However things seem to be escalating quickly, and I am most worried about not getting home, being quarantined etc.

My husband is already there and has an obligation this week. We were supposed to stay until March 24, but I think he will be home sooner too.

If it were me, I think I'd be changing Italy plans right now. WDW is one thing. Italy is another. Be safe.

I don't have anything planned, but I would pretty much feel fine going to WDW or DLR in the US. I am going to hold off on Paris in case things get worse over there. I'm glad I never pulled the trigger on that.

For now we are still going on our disney cruise end of april. If I were going to Asia or Italy (or maybe even Europe) I would change my plans. Also my husband and I will be bringing our laptops in case of quarantine and we have to work. We will also make sure the dog kennel is aware of where we are going. I am not so concerned about my direct family getting sick as we are healthy and for us if we did it would probably be the mild cold. My parents in their mid 70s are also traveling with us and my dad has told me to stop worrying and asking him if he is okay with them still going. :)

For me, thoughts of not going are not really based on becoming ill. I am personally thinking of things along the lines of changes in finances or schedules. For us a change in schedule would be highly unlikely. A change in finances might not be as unlikely. Time will tell, which is why I voted for "wait & see".

Mind you, we're still preparing as if we are definitely going. (Everything actually booked can be cancelled without any financial hit, so we're good there.) We're increasing our walking, we're adjusting plans & reservations, making to-do and to-pack lists, and I still have a little stock pile of things started for my kids for the trip down and back that I am adding to. That's the only place where we're actively spending money for the trip right now simply because they are items we can use in other ways, and with Easter & both of their birthdays coming up, I can always use them for those events. :)

DW and I are planning to drive to the Florida Keys in late April. No need to cancel or postpone as of now. Of course, if the situation worsens we'll reconsider. Hotel reservation can be cancelled up to 5 days in advance with full refund.

I leave on Friday for WDW, and am going. Unless things change greatly by Friday, I will go. And I was at Disneyland this past Saturday and will be a bunch more times in the next few weeks and months. I live local and go a lot.

My April WDW trip is in conjunction with a school group. At this point, I’m more concerned about the school cancelling the trip. Just planning to wait & see, as we learn more virus info & stats each day. I will certainly support their decision.

Family has a local beach trip planned for mid April and it will take a lot to keep me from my beach time!

How many times are you going to copy/paste this thread. You have been closed once, deleted all together a second time. Hoping this one goes unnoticed. You going to put it somewhere else next, maybe under Restaurants.

This topic is open under multiple threads, respect the fact moderators do not want more on the topic opened.

No spring break vacation for us this year, but not because of this. Because of private school tuition and a new car being needed.

If I had something planned, I would still be going...without hesitation!

Since our trip isn't until the fall we're taking a wait and see approach. I'm not rushing to cancel anything and will be making our dining reservation and fast pass selects are usual.

We don't have any other trips planned this year due to DD's wedding.

We are going to Disneyland for a couple of days next week and are not changing our plans. But we're driving, not flying.

I wouldn't be getting on a cruise ship right now if you paid me. They're basically floating petri dishes.
