Hi Everyone,

The family and I are taking in a trip to WDW soon. I booked CSR for 4 days and had a few questions.....

Which location is the best?

Is it hard to find a seat in pepper market @ breakfast time?

How is the bus service?

and finally those of you that would know......

Would you chose POR over CSR?

Thanks for all your help,
Lisa

I would recommend staying in Cabanas 8A. We stayed there last May. Location is ideal. It was a short walk to the pool and a short walk to the bus stop. The walk to Pepper Market wasn't too bad, but was scenic. There were plenty of seats in the morning, as long as we went early (by 8am)

We stayed at POR before, which was nice as well. I just prefer the pool and landscaping of CS better, so we are planning another visit there.

Have a nice trip!

Which location is the best? - we love the cabanas best

Is it hard to find a seat in pepper market @ breakfast time? - at the time of year we have stayed at CSR, we have never had a problem being seated (April, May & November)

How is the bus service? - the best!!

Would you chose POR over CSR? - CSR!!

Have a great trip!

I would recomend the casitas or cabanas. They are the closest to the main building. As for the buses we thought they were very good and never had a problem with them. The follwoing site has a map: http://www.disneyzone.net/csresort.htm

We have stayed there several times, once for a conference. This is a conference hotel and so you will see alot of those types of guest much of the year. But the resort is still wonderful with their wonderful mexican theming.

Breakfast does get busy, expecially around 9am. I would recommend going early. But the seating area is very large so you should not have a problem

As for preference over POR. CSR is alot larger and POR is our fave moderate. Just enjoy the theming and the restaurants there. So ultimately it comes down to personal preference.

Which location is the best?
In previous years we have stayed in the Cabanas 9B, but this past trip we stayed in the Casitas and absolutely LOVED it!

Is it hard to find a seat in pepper market @ breakfast time?
We have never had a hard time getting seated during B-fast in the Pepper Market

How is the bus service?
The bus service is great.

and finally those of you that would know......

Would you chose POR over CSR?
Definitely CSR!

I hope this helps

Thanks Everybody we are booked and looking forward to trying CSR!

Thanks for all your help!

We will be there in March! Is the pool very crowded during Springbreak? AKL pool was packed last May. It was hard to keep up with your kids and we went the first week in May before schools got out.

:D

I stayed at the CSR in 2002. The Ranchos section seems the best section to me. However, it is the farthest from El Centro. It does provide a nice walk to breakfast in the morning, though. As far as seating for breakfast at the Pepper Market, it depends on what time you consider breakfast. I was at the PM every morning right when it opened and there were plenty of seats. I ate outside every morning though, so I can't really tell you how crowded it is or isn't.

The bus service is awesome. I never had to wait more than 10-15 minutes for a bus to anywhere, and that happened only a few times. It was usually about a 10 minute wait.

Have a great time.

We just got back from there. We spent the week of Christmas in Ranchos 7A. It was great!! We loved the theming in the Ranchos section. Never had a wait at the Pepper Market for breakfast or dinner and the food and service was excellent. The buses ran about every fifteen minutes. We never had to walk to El Centro because it is the last stop before taking you to any park. Even though it was a holiday week we never had to stand on any bus. We stayed at POR last year and we prefer CSR, in fact we will stay there again.

Thanks Everyone for your repiles.....

I have to say after looking at some of buzz2001 & family's pictures (great pictures Mario & Family! Love your website) our family has decided to ask for Rancheros 6b or 7b..... Or Cabana's 8a.....

We are really looking forward to our stay here! A first for us. The resort looks beautiful!
