Coronado Springs?

It might be the time of year we go, but in 50+ nights at CSR I've never seen a snake or rat.

However all of our trips to CSR have been in December, maybe there's more wildlife in the summer.

We've seen lots of squirrels, some geico's, couple turtle's, ducks, and some large fish in the lagoon. Tried to find the infamous alligator, but never saw him either.

You can only call the call center, you can't call the resort directly. Call and have them note any requests you may have, keeping in mind they are requests in the truest sense of the word.

Ive stayed 3 times and no snakes,gators or chupacabras. Frogs, turtles and ducks. My kids were all over the place looking for the reported armadillos. Maybe 4th time will be a charm.

No matter where you end up the resort is lovely. Especially at night with the lighted bridge and music playing in the bushes. Explore the resort and walk the paths.

IMO, Ranchos is the most appealing scenery to me, although I have not stayed Ranchos. The hammocks are nice to lay in around the Cabanas. You don't need to be in Cabanas to use them.

Personally, I prefer first floor. Some people fear critters sneaking in while keeping the door ajar during cleaning.

We were in building 4 in the Casitas, and we lucked out with a pool view on the top floor right next to the elevator. We could see the tippy top of Everest, so technically a theme park view! lol! It was close to the the main lobby / food court. Avoid accessible rooms though. You only get one sink and the bed is lowered. It's not as nice. For some reason transportation was really fast - I think Coronado bus routes have far less traffic lights than Pop & Riverside.
