Hi everyone, I booked Pop Century from 2/1-2/6/2004, 2 rooms. This was a room only reservation. They told me that I had to put a deposit for the first night for the two rooms, and the rest was due when I checked in. Well once the CTH code came out, I called and upgraded to a moderate and used the code. I just got my confirmation in and it says that the remaining amount is due on 1/11/04. Why is it not just due when I check in now? I do not mind paying for it earlier, but I was just worried that maybe they made it some kind of package. On the reservation sheet it says package type 5 night CTH disney package. Does anyone know what this means?

Thanks for any help!
Kim

Yeah, most ressies are made through the Walt Disney Travel Company and not through the old CRO. Even if you're booking room-only and not a package, they still require the payment in full in ADVANCE. It's getting harder and harder to get through to CRO these days for a room-only "traditional" reservation.

On another post, several people inidcated that they had called and were told that they did not have to pay the amount due prior to arrival.

I have ressies for the month of May and on by confirmation it says to pay in full by the end of April. but i also called and was told i could pay the balance when i got there.;)

I just made reservations for CSR 1/1-1/5 with the CTH code, no advance payment required. I called CRO and made sure I was speaking with CRO though, as I wanted to do things "the old way."
