DH and I currently have a reservation in a Little Mermaid room at AoA for a long weekend in November. A preferred room became available at CSR for only $10 more per night using the AP discount . CSR looks beautiful but I'm hesitant because of the multiple bus stops at the resort. Are there usually long waits for the buses to/from the parks ? Would you recommend switching to CSR or keeping AOA? TIA :)

I'd jump in a heartbeat! Love CSR. There are only a few stops and we've never had issues with full buses. The plus of the "convention" resort is more room on the buses and pools. At AoA you will have a long walk to the bus and even though one stop, value buses fill up.

We've only stayed at CSR once but there was never long waits for the bus (even DTD). The stops are no big deal..plenty of sitting area if waiting for a bus and they stop, load and go. They don't sit a long time waiting, they keep it moving. Never stayed at AOA but have stayed plenty at Pop, during a busy time there we wait through 4 buses before finally being able to load. Imagine with the popularity of AOA it would be the same. The rooms at CSR are lovely and big...I love that you can close the doors to the vanity area to get ready but not bothering those still sleeping or watching tv. I'd definitely switch......forgot to include we'll be there next week.

Preferred at CSR means Casitas section. I stayed at CSR preferred last fall and loved it. The whole walk from preferred bldgs to the main bldg is covered. Good because it rained the entire time I was there. Right now at Casitas 4, CSR is rehabbing the salon/spa and fitness center, and the Casitas quiet pool is closed. But it all re-opens in mid-October. So they'll have a brand-new fitness center and salon/spa for you in November. CSR also has a Business Class bldg, Cabanas 9B. These rooms are sort-of "Club Level Lite" with a food and drink lounge. I think they're about $50 more per night. As others mentioned, because many guests at CSR are attending conventions and seminars being held there, the bus crowds are less than other Disney resorts. But there's still the Disney touches that say you're at WDW.

I would pick CSR any time over a LM room at AOA. Much better experience.

Only $10?? Go for it! Great upgrade! CSR is a beautiful resort with lots of good dining options, a terrific main pool with a huge hot tub, great bus service and comfortable rooms!! Yay!!! you will love CSR!

You would be trading up to go CSR and there are many reasons to do so. But it all depends on what you expectations are. If you want vacation vibe then i would council not doing it.

Thanks everyone for your replies! Just made the switch to CSR. Excited to try out this resort :)
