Coronado Springs versus Animal Kingdom Lodge

My older kids prefer AKV/AKL to any of the moderates without question. Watching the animals during feeding time is great fun for them. Anytime we leave the room, we go to a spot where we can look for different animals. I would say without question, AKL if price isn't an issue.

Thanks for all the advise and information. It looks like my wife decided and upgraded us to AKL. She hoped that I would not see it but I noticed on the Disney App. So much for the surprise but after 8 trips to a value resort we are looking forward to something nicer.

AKL is my favorite resort so far. I have not stayed at CSR yet but my 12 year old daughter did (with a friend's family) and she loved it. She raved about it actually, and especially enjoyed the pool. However, I asked her what she thought, and which she would choose for your teenage son, and she said AKL 100% for sure!
