Finally!!! Less than 90 days now for our first ever stay at CSR. :cool1: Time to start getting my T-shirts for the trip ready thanks to all the wonderful DIS designers and the beautiful graphics they have provided me with for the transfers for the shirts!

ohh where did you find these? I would love to make some shirts for me and my fiance. he might not want to wear them, but i'm sure i can bribe him some how

In the DIS forums go to the "Just For Fun Section" and click on Creative DISigns (last option in that section). Lots of DISigners there that will help you out. Just make sure to read the overall rules and regulations for requesting designs and also the specific requirements that each designer will have. SO many things to choose from and most of the designers will personalize and create things for you.

1. For those just back, is there a bounce-back offer in the rooms? If yes, what is it?

2. I asked this several pages back, and I saw someone else asked but neither of us got an answer...is there a specialty adult beverage (cocktail) at the resort, say at Siesta bar or Rix Lounge? I enjoy my Lapu Lapu at the Poly, and I wonder if there's a corresponding cocktail at CSR?

Thanks in advance!

I can't answer #1 since we don't arrive yet for two months and two weeks. As for the "specialty adult beverage, I have had the Pina Colada which is very good and they also have Francisco's Margarita which is very tasty.

94 days ! I'm just starting to work on my autograph book for dd, well actually I"m copying one lol I'm NOT craft at all

I just returned and there was a bounce back offer in my room. I believe 40% off deluxe and 30% moderate. I don't recall the dates, I'm sorry about that. they were mixed dates through the end of the year.

When we went to Disney 2 years ago, I had a number to fax in our building request to CSR. Does anyone have that fax number or a phone number to CSR so we can make our request? I will be checking in on-line tomorrow.:yay:

Thanks, as always, for all the help!

Faxes no longer work at any of the resorts. The rooms are assigned by a computer. I would just be sure your "request" is on your reservation.

Just wanted to thank everyone for all the information provided here. This thread was a big part of our decision to try CSR this trip. I hope we love it as much as many of you do (and at least as much as our favorite, WL). We will be there tomorrow!!!

Have a magical trip. Just be sure to remember you are going from a deluxe to a moderate. We used to always stay at the Poly, and in many ways we love the CSR just as much (if not more).

I made my requests today! 46 days out! I asked for Cabanas 8a or 8b or Casitas 4 or 5 and either 1st floor or near an elevator. Though I wouldn't be upset with Ranchos 7b.

We've got Mickey Mail!!! :cool1: We just got our Magical Express tickets and luggage tags in mail today. We requested Cabanas 9B, first floor and near transportation and are counting down to online check in.:woohoo:

We are upgrading to a moderate it was between CBR and CSR. Dh said CSR. He loved there food court. I love the mexican theme. But it has been almost 9 years since we stayed there. It was Dh first disney trip. Is the caban section the closest to the main pool?
Thanks

Cabanas 8 (A and B) and Ranchos are the closest to pool, however, it also makes them furthest from El Centro (the main building).

I think we were in one of those 2 building the last time. The walk wasn't bad IMO. I do know we were pretty much across from the main pool.

Kelly, Cabana 8A is the closest to the Dig Site. We stayed in room 8152 and it was so close to the main pool! There are pics in my TR.

We had lots of years between our CSR stays. We loved it so much in March, we are headed back in August. I wish were staying there in Sept too, but it's POFQ for then as nothing at CSR was available.

Hello!

My husband and I are taking a mini-trip alone to CSR soon. We are hoping to spend some time at the hot-tub, pool, lounge and gym. Which building would be best to request? Thanks!!

Jenni

We are in Cabanas 4 right now. The gym and spa are on the first floor of our building and one of the quiet pools is just in front of the gym.

Casitas 4 is the closest to the gym and a quiet pool. Cabana 8A is closest to the theme pool/hot tub, though 8B and 7B are very close to the theme pool/hot tub too. Casitas 1, 2, or 3 would be closest to the Rix Lounge
