:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Just paid the balance for our May trip! :cool1:

I wanted to make sure that I got the triple-Disney-dollars on my Disney Visa by paying it in March. Hoping those extra dollars post before the trip!

Can't wait to be back at Coronado Springs!:yay:

:cheer2:

one more question....
can someone give me at least an idea of how much it costs to rent bikes and the "little speed boats"?

Thank you!

When we were there (March 11-14), the marina was closed, so there was no bike rental or boat rental. Although there was the bass nitro fishing by reservation.

Can adults go down the Jaguar slide or just kids only?

Thank you, Cal

I do it all the time. :goodvibes

The boat and bikes are only open seasonably. I was unable to get a picture of the prices last year because it was closed so they did not have them up. Personally, the boats are not worth it at the CSR because the lake is not that large and you don't leave the property. We always rented the boats at the Polynesian or Contemporary as there is more space to explore.

We only have 54 days left and looking forward to our first CSR experience! Trip is paid off, room request for DD has been made (Casitas 4 or 5), and DH has even checked up on the resort (he's never checked up on anything Disney related before!). He's more excited about CSR than I am, because it was mentioned switching resorts to extend our stay, and he refused and promised me time at the beach if we left the reservation alone.

(CSR did not have any availability to extend our vacation by 1 day since DH decided he didn't want to drive home on a Friday. We would have to switch our stay to another resort, but DH refused and decided to drive us over to the beach for the night instead.)

I can't wait to try out KatMark's hammock.

Sounds terrific. What beach are you driving to for the night?

And please do try out my hammock. And be sure to have a :drinking1 while doing so. :goodvibes

DH hasn't said yet. Any recommendations? I've only been to the beach once, and it was 2009 and we stayed at Ormond (since our TA forgot to book our room at Cocoa and it ended up being full because of shuttle launch).

And I'll definitely have a :drinking1 while I keep your hammock broken in.

We used to stay in Daytona Beach all of the time; the only reason we moved to Marco Island is because my best friend lives in Naples and I get to see her for the week.

As a matter of fact, I'll be in Daytona this Sunday.

We also went to the beach south of St. Petersburg (I think it was in Treasure Island); but we did not stay at a hotel there as it was a "day" excursion.

Just thought I would chime in and recomend Siesta Key on the Gulf side. It has white sand beaches and is beautiful.

Awesome! Thanks for the input! :thumbsup2 This is why I love the DISboards! :disrocks:

So many helpful people with advice! :grouphug:

Hi All! We just booked our Wedding Anniversary Disney Trip for this June at CSR! This will be our first trip to Disney World Together! I was able to Score a Preferred King Room in the Casita Section. I am so excited that I cried!:goodvibes

Hey, Lidian! We'll be there at the same time - we're 53 days away! You might have to fight me for that hammock! :rotfl:

I've stayed in a King room before, and it was nice!! We have a King room this year too. You'll have a great time!

To I have to come there and separate you two? :lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

Yep, Kathy, you do! You're gonna have to make 2 CSR trips this year! :rotfl:

Lidian - I have a 5-yr-old boy, too, and will be traveling with my cousin and her 4-yr-old. Maybe we'll run into you at the pool. :thumbsup2

We're staying at CSR in May and have an 0815 ADR at Crystal Palace. I'm freaking out a little bit reading how far some of the rooms are and having to take buses to get to buses but I'm also somewhat anti driving at Disney. What time would we need to head out using the bus system or how long of a drive is it?

Also just fiddling around on the disney site earlier I noticed that the dates I booked for the rate has gone down a fair bit. Can that be adjusted or it considered locked in and done? I'm pulling the midnight shift all week so I have nothing to do except plan!

I would check at CSR front desk about the bus to MK for your ressie. Most of the buses run 1 hour before the parks open. We had an early ressie a couple of years ago when we stayed at CSR and by being at the bus stop first thing we made to Crystal Palace without any issues.

Congrats on your mammogram. You hit a nice recovery mark.
Happy to hear that your brother is doing ok. Chuck had his back
surgery in Oct and is still in recovery mode, so what we do at
Disney will be a bit different this year, but we are both getting
excited.

Thank you.

He was in surgery for over three hours, but all went well. He has a long recovery ahead of him, but the surgery worked and I can relax again. I also got the great news that my mammogram was clear. So I can now say that I have been cancer free for four years. :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:
