We are getting really close to our long overdue trip back to CSR
I have some questions for those who have been recently:

Are the refillable mugs the same as you get at all resorts or are they specific to CSR? The last time we went, we got a Pepper Market mug not Disney Themed.....

Will they give us a second coffee pot for me to make hot water in for tea in the am? My husband drinks coffee but I drink tea and would like to make both in the room.......

The mugs are the same as every where else. However, what we ran into was that at Cafe Rix, they only had old mugs when we arrived. When we checked out, they only had new yellow handle ones. The Pepper Market had all 3 new colors, blue, pink and yellow.

As for a 2nd pot, you would need to ask mousekeeping if they have additional pot that you could use.

Can I just say that this thread is getting me SO excited for our trip in August!!! We've never been to CSR before, let alone stay there, so I can't wait!!

LOL, I did too! I got the pink, dh got blue and both kids picked yellow. They seriously need to make a minimum of 4 colors instead of 3!!

I'm the only gal in a family full of guys-DH, 3 step sons, DS, and 3 DBILs-most of my Disney mugs have "walked" off over the years. They won't dare take a girly pink one though

I'm looking through the pics at the front of the thread and dreaming of the JR Suite. It looks basically like 2 connecting rooms. Does the 2nd room have an entry/exit door? If so would 1 card key work both doors?

Would anyone know where the bus stops are at the parks for CSR? I've come across some older threads stating that CSR usually has the closer stops...just wondering.

That's true in most cases except Magic Kingdom, where the bus stop is very far from the entrance, almost as far as the Values'.
At DHS it's very close, can't remember the number but it's the first one on your left when you get to the bus stop area.
It is close at AK as well.
At Epcot it's one of the closest, they recently changed the stop though, traded it with AKL's. When you get to the bus stops, go on your right and it's the first one.

I'm glad to hear AK is close. That is the one park where we don't take an afternoon break and by the time we leave I'm just exhausted.

Whew....after days of reading (a little bit at a time) I have finished the thread! We are booked for our 1st trip to CSR Aug 6-13. We have only stayed at POR & WL previously. We loved both resorts but our last trip to WL was also in August & there was a tropical storm for about 5 days of our vacation!

We have a 19 & 16 yr old, so the queen beds were really a selling point. I requested a Cabana room, but wouldn't mind a Casita one either.

If you do online check in, when you arrive you can still wait in either line , right? Not just the online check in line?

JR Suite, I have no idea. I do know that they have the ability to program keys to multiple locks, so with 2 entry doors (if they have them), I'm sure they can do that.

The bus stops, as mentioned, are all close (except MK, which isn't THAT far). They do supposedly rotate them, but both in 2009 and 2010, the CSR ones were one of the first couple in the row. In MK, it was one of the first in the row too, just in the 3rd row (they go "top to bottom" there, so 3rd row isn't that much futher).

Yes, you can stand in either line if you do online check-in. I typically arrive at strange times and had the whole check-in desk to myself so I just get pulled to whoever isn't in the middle of something.

I talked to my nephew for 30 minutes on the phone last night and all he did was tell me how wonderful CSR is!! He was there over Spring Break with his girlfriend. My youngest DD ( age 20)and I will be there May 8-15!!

He loved Pepper Market....rooms are REALLY nice....resort grounds are BEAUTIFUL........The main pool is AWSOME!!

I can't wait!!

Yes, you can stand in either line if one is longer than the other (we did this the first time we used online check-in).

For everyone who reads along here, I'm headed to Florida tomorrow very early in the a.m. (no, not going to Disney, but on a business trip with my hubby and we will be in Jacksonville, Daytona, Cocoa Beach and Naples) and will be gone for nine days. I will have my laptop with me and hope to keep up here on this thread. But there are lots of very knowledgable people who can help out if I miss a question during my time in the sun.

I am in! we get there the 28th though. I will be mixing up a tupperware pitcher of yummy cocktails and bringing it to the pool at least once. We may have a Boma ADR that night. Still debating if we will want to leave CSR only a couple of hours after we get the there. I think we may just Pepper Market it and chill out that afternoon.
