We arrived the night Ernesto was going right over Orlando. They took us to our room (no walking around the resort). I think there was a written sheet in the room saying if we needed anything to call, and to stay inside! It was a tropical storm by the time it went over Orlando, so nothing like Charley.
The next day, I noticed they were putting back all the outdoor pool furniture they had taken down.
If your stay is during a hurricane, they give you specific instructions based on the severity of the storm/hurricane.
You would need to stay in your room, which at CSR means have what you need in the way of food, beverages and medications since you can't go out!
When we were there, yes. But since then they made breakfast and lunch a buffet, which like most buffets I would assume comes with no tip added. Usually at a buffet, you leave whatever you like for the folks bringing you coffee etc..
We ate at the pepper market breakfast buffet this morning it was good worth a quick service dining credit the bill had a recommended tip amount on it just like the sit down restaurants do. I think it was 15% and 18% we left 15% our waitress was very nice. Linda
Day 3 of our 3rd trip to CSR and we just love it here! We walked over to El Cento twice today from cabanas 8a it's closer than I realized we go over the bridge. We are close to the main pool and close to the bus stop. It's so pretty at night strolling around the resort with all the lights on. Linda

We've booked CSR for may next year with ddp but I can't seem to see any of the CSR restaurants on the ddp list for 2013. Is that right that we won't be able to use our credits in the resort?
Just received our Mickey mail yesterday. placed the luggage tags and destination tags on the luggage. The first real sign we are almost home.
29 days and counting.
We are so looking forward to this trip as we are planning to spend most of the trip on or around the resort and only two or three day in the parks.
We go for the rental car and drive to the various ADR at other resorts.
Thanks to all for the information and posting
Micky and friends here we come

Aaaahhhh .... daydreaming about it as I read this. I was in 9A (close to you) and the walk was lovely. I loved it when I approached the El Centro building when I could hear the music.

We are booked in a preferred room right now. Do you think that's necessary at CSR? We are mostly interested in being close to the main pool and close to breakfast in the morning.
