Very true.

I can't believe your DD will be 13. Where did that time go?

I believe it - she is as tall as I am and full of attitude! :rotfl2: Actually, she is a great kid and has been working hard in school - I'm so excited to be bringing her best friend with us to WDW. I think they will always remember this trip. :lovestruc

DD9 is already counting down to when she turns 13 so she can bring a friend - I think a precedent has been set. ;)

We decided to rent points and stay at BWV instead of at CSR in the junior suite. It was cheaper to rent points, and I think the girls will have fun being at the Boardwalk. I'll miss CSR, though.

1. Yes, CSR and the deluxe resorts have free wifi.
2. PM is currently a buffet (it's a trial, but it has gone past the trial end date, so it might be here to stay). Cafe Rix, Laguna Bar, and Siesta's are all open for lunch. Here are the links to their menus:

when did they start offering free IN ROOM wi-fi? That's new and awesome! I know they have designated areas that are free, but in room was always an additional charge...even in the deluxe resorts.

I want to say it was a couple of months ago. :goodvibes

First, I will get the rest of the photos updated over the weekend. I am having major problems with Photobucket kicking me off right now and I'm getting angry with the darn thing.

Second, but most important, I would like to thank StitchandPooh'sMom for taking over the CSR thread at my request.

Unfortunately, due to some things going on at home and work, I just don't have the time to devote to it like I have in the past. Mary has graciously agreed to handle the thread now.

I will still be around and will chime in when I see a question and someone hasn't answered or a more detailed answer is required, etc.

In the meantime, I thank ALL of you who have supported me while I ran the CSR thread and for your kindness and good wishes. But I thank you most for the many friends I have met through either your love of the CSR or your wanting to know more about it.

To those who are going to Disney and the CSR soon, I hope you have a wonderful stay at our home away from home.

I hope things settle down for you soon Kat. Thank you so much for always being the "go to" person for all things CSR! When you picked up the job, you didn't miss a beat! :)

The Pepper Market responded to me today that things are going to stay this way for now. So it looks like no plans for change in the near future.

Siesta's nachos are awesome!! I got them for lunch at the pool and wasn't able to finish them.

The free wifi started during my October stay at CSR. The free wifi at POFQ started right after Dec stay there.

We really don't need a big buffet for breakfast. Is Cafe Rix a good option for a grab n go breakfast? What is their menu like? Anything for kids? No Mickeywaffles there? Do they have fresh fruit at least?

Sorry if this has been answered before but is this new buffet thing at CSR covered under the dining plan for CS or TS? Not sure if its something we would do or not, just curious. Also, does anyone know if you can get milk in the resort mugs? Thanks :goodvibes

Pepper Market is a CS credit. Great deal if you are on the ddp.

Mug refills are soda, tea, coffee or water. There was a hot chocolate machine with the other options but it is not meant to be included.

Not sure about the waffles, I don't eat them, so don't look for them. Yes, they have fresh fruit such as bananas and oranges. I also saw yogurt.

Yes, covered under the dining plan as a 1 credit QS meal.

Thank you for the kind words. I truly appreciate them.

We actually got some good news on our son's test results today, so that is a huge burden off my shoulders.

I can't wait for the end of September. I really hope they decide to keep the buffet. Not that I eat a tonne of food, but I hate making up my mind and a buffet lets me have a bit of lots of stuff. I love breakfast and am looking forward to being able to have the buffet a few times in the morning. I figure if we have a big breakfast then we can just get a snack mid-day and then use our ts meal for a sit down dinner. It will be just my partner and I so no kids.

I wish it was September now! CSR looks so beautiful.

They did have mickey waffles with fruit toppings! Yummy. They had bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, pancakes, hash, an omelet station, a few different egg based dishes, biscuits and gravy( DS pronounced this yummy) a nice fruit and yogurt bar and a huge selections of breads and pastries and desserts.

Drinks were included. We had apple and orange juice.

I rated the food on par with most of the character meal breakfast foods.

Sounds yummy!!!

Thanks for the reply!
