Any suggestions?????

I have teenagers and a 1 year old, so I'm looking for resort with variety.

Having never stayed at CBR I can't comment on it. But I can tell you that we thought CSR was fantastic! The pool area alone is worth a stay there! :flower:

We've stayed at both and we LOVE CSR!!! We just didn't like CBR that much. There was just something that didn't appeal to us and we love going to the Caribbean. Part of it, I think, was that the pool area seemed small for such a huge resort. The walk from Aruba to the food court was quite long, though you could request an area closer. I can't think of one negative about CSR. Both times we stayed there we stayed in a different area and loved them both, the food court is real good, the grounds are beautiful, and at night it looks so pretty with all the lights sparkling off the lake...

I agree with ciera321, CBR pool is a huge disappointment. CSR is really nice in all aspects.

Another thumbs up for CSR.

We've stayed in both. IMHO, the pool is better, loved the Pepper Market and it is in a great location to all the parks. Bus service was excellent too.

Our first onsite visit was to CBR. Since then, we've stayed at CSR three times and are returning for a 4th visit next month. We like the Pepper Market so much better than CBR's food court. And the there's no comparison between the main pools...CSR wins hands down! Both resorts are somewhat spread out and both have very nice rooms. But there's just something about CSR that keeps us coming back.

just remember if you're getting the MYW w/ dining, you can't use the dining anywhere in CSR. :(

Actually CSR has been added onto the MYW with dining option. :sunny:

I agree - CSR over CBR anyday! We've stayed at CSR 4 times and we absolutely love it! My sons are 2, 8 and 13 and all have a great time at CSR. CBR was a let-down for us. The best part of CSR is the pool area - the slide is great and it has an area where my 2 year old can play in the sand.

No matter where you stay, you'll have a great time because you will be at the greatest place on earth!!!! Have fun!

My teen LOVES CSR, as does DH.............last trip to AKL....in the pool he says "where is the pyramid".........hello, if I had known you prefer that I could have saved some money ;)

Also stayed there with a toddler and it was great. Found cover at the pool and great playground area. Very relaxing from that perspective but fun for everyone else too.

We were at CSR with two teens, a 7yo and a 2yo in Dec. 03. They all loved it, as did we!! I am so glad we tried it, and would recommend it. The biggest complaints I ever hear are that you walk a lot- we found it very relaxing to walk, and didn't find it excessive by any means. Hope you have a great time!

I'm starting to miss CSR! I love that place, just so peaceful and soothing. I love the warm tones, it feels like it's always sunset in CSR. I get the chance for a solo WDW trip and I can stay pretty much where I want (well not really, mod or value really). I am leaning towards POFQ, just for a change, but you guys have me missing CSR! This is gonna be a tough choice!

I love CBR and didn't care for CSR. I didn't like the theming, the fact that the food court wasn't near the main pool. Also didn't like the Pepper Market and the mandatory tiping.

I stayed at CSR twice and just didn't warm up to the resort like others have. On the other hand I love the theming at CBR.

I don't think you can go wrong with either resort.
