Coronado Springs...King = preferred?

We have a King room at CSR for early February. It was the only option. Does that mean we will be in Casitas or are King rooms scattered all over the resort? I'm guessing scattered? I've been checking to see if preferred comes up, but nothing so far. Also wondering if they might switch up from King to preferred when we check in if available? Hmmmmm...

King rooms are scattered all around the resort.....I stayed in 9a the one time I got a king upgrade. Not sure about the upgrade but I would venture those rooms sell out pretty fast. I book standard room for my Feb trip and those rooms were gone so fast.

Yes, the King rooms are scattered. We have stayed in King rooms several time, and have been in Casitas 4 or several of the Rancheros building on different trips. The updated King rooms are really nice.
