Coronado Sold out for a conference

I finally got word from my job that i will be going to a work conference this October 26th-Nov 1. The conference is at Coronado Springs.

I could get a conference rate, but by the time work coughed up the C.C. Well everything is sold out.... No moderate is available. I could go through a different supplier, but that requires full payment and work wont allow that.

They offered All Star Sports as the overflow hotel. Nothing against the All Stars, but not what I was wanting to stay at.

SO being that I am also a Travel Agent, I had attended a On-Site Specialist course and had made some friends with some cast members. One who actually works in reservations.

I contacted him and checked to see what kind of magic he could come up with. He was able to get me a rate at Saratoga Springs for the amout that is budgeted..

So, while we are dissppointed that we will be driving every day, at least it is not at a value.

I am hoping we enjoy Saratoga....

Why will you have to drive everyday? I just wanted to make sure that you know Saratoga has WDW bus service as all the other on-site Disney resorts. Plus you can walk to DTD from there. My cousins stayed there last year and really enjoyed that resort. I'm sure you'll love it too.

I wasnt worried about the bus service.

It was driving from SSR to CS everyday for the actual conference.

It stinks that you have to drive. But I love Saratoga, I liked it much better than CSR. Have fun!
