Help!!
Our group is torn between these two resorts going in Sept. So we are leaving our decision up to one thing:

At magic kingdom which resort bus is closer when you are catching it from the park? And any details such as pictures would also be helpful, I found nothing on this when I searched online.

What are the ages of your group?

With small children, CBR. With older kids and adults, Coronado. CSR has some of the best busing and a great pool for older kids and adults.

Ages are 50, 23, 22,22, and 1. We were wondering if either one was towards the furthest away to pickup from parks. We have only ever stayed value..

Coronado had the nicest rooms of any moderate, I thought it was great when I stayed there. I'm usually at the Boardwalk, whose bus stop is essentially in the Contemporary's parking lot...

With those ages - I'd pick Coronado. The pool, whirlpool, the social/food places to hang out - all well-targeted for your group ages. (Meaning - the 20-somes and one 50 year old, the one year old doesn't count!)

As moderates - they aren't as far away as the values when it comes to walking to the bus stops. They are probably next to each other, but I can't remember for sure.

I personally think Coronado theming is more unique - and hence - more interesting!

Coronado is our favorite. Even at the last bus stop never a problem getting on a bus and usually with a seat. Their bus stops were pretty close at all parks (compared to Pop). We didn't look for CBR bus stops at the parks unfortunately. Even this almost 50 year old mom loved the pool slide lol. Unfortunately it is sold out for our late September trip so we booked CBR with a bounce back offer. We liked it when we stayed there years ago.

The CSR bus stop is closer to the MK entrance if that is what you are asking.

LOL I know my mom is sold on the slides at CBR...

I love the Caribbean Beach! I have never stayed at the Coronado, so I can't say anything about that. The Caribbean Beach is so relaxing.

CBR was the last stop....ALL the way down. But it was our favorite moderate so far, and CSR was our least favorite.

My twin sister and I have stayed at the CSR three of our last four trips: Mar 2011, May 2014, and Oct 2015. Planning to stay there again this November if free dining is announced.

IMO It's one of the best bus stops at MK. Very close - see the red arrow which was the location during our Halloween 2015 trip. I know things are subject to change but that has been the CSR MK stop every time I've stayed there.

Can't go wrong with CSR! I initially picked this resort when I read parts were themed after Spain. I lived in Madrid for three months and took excursions around Spain and thought I'd love that theming. I was right - Casitas really reminded me of Spanish courtyards in Córdoba. We always request that section.

We have stayed at both, and would pick CSR. It is a beautiful resort, nice rooms and a great pool! We have stayed at all of the moderates, and CBR is our least favorite by far!

Definitely Coronado! It is our fave next to AKL. I think they have the most comfortable beds which are queen size, and like the doors that close off the bathroom area for privacy and early risers. They have a great pool and fast waterslide, and have 4 bus stops, as opposed to 7 at CBR. We like to stay in Cabanas 8A or 8B, which is close to a bus stop and the pool, and a few minutes walk to the food court. It is a beautiful setting around the lake, with hammocks along the way, which DD really missed while we were at POP in Dec. since CSR was unavailable for free dining package. You can also request a microwave at check-in, which they will deliver to your room if there is one available(first come, first serve but we have not had a problem). You can find great info. on the resorts forum on here, where there is a thread for each of the hotels with pics and info. Allears.net also has info. on each resort.

Actually my post was unclear - it was the Coronado slide I loved. Very long. Plan to try CBR one if we swim next trip though.

Coronado's pool slide is MUCH better than the slides at Caribbean Beach, as long as we're not talking kiddie slides. It's the main reason my wife likes Coronado more than CBR, though there are other reasons.

CBR does have a far better kiddie area, though.

We are a couple in our mid 20s we also couldn't decide what one would be best for our age between these two ?
