Hi,
I'm traveling with two boys under 3 and my husband. We can stay at the CSR for about $75 more for the trip. Is it worth it? How is the bus service? Or would the Movies be more appealing for our family? Please give me your honest opinions.

Your kids wouldn't mind which resort you choose. But if you want to please your kids...and this trip is for them...then I would choose
ASMo. I walked around CSR and it is a beautiful resort...but I vote for ASMo for the kids. We love this resort. My kids then 2 and 4 enjoyed themselves there.

The atmosphere is very disney. Lots of Disney character icons. You will see lots of families with young kids. We fit right in! The place is very colorful. The pool is very cute. Lots of variety of food to choose from. Even though it is a value resort...the service is still pure disney. I think your boys will enjoy themselves there.

Have fun!

I vote for CSR. More amenities, which is real nice when you have little ones. Bigger rooms with coffeemaker, coffee, mugs, iron, board, hairdryer. Limited room service-even breakfast. Great pool area with playground and kiddie pool right there. The Pepper market is another plus. You are seated , brought your drinks, and you pay after your meal. No trying to balance a tray of food and drinks while paying and then trying to "find" a table. The resort is sooo pretty at night. Put the kids in the stroller and walk around the lake! Nice quiet pools with laundry nearby and excellent bus service. I have stayed at both resorts and liked both, but there is no comparison. The kids would like the theming of ASMo, but if they are under three they may not even really "see" it. When my son was 3 we were at World of Disney at DTD and I was pointing out some of the characters. He looked with no reaction at all!
You will get plenty of "Disney" at the parks. I would go for comfort at your resort!

I vote ASM for me and mine and I have stayed at both so far. We were way at the back at Coranado. Coranado is a very spread out resort and if you wind up at the back you could have a long walk to the pool or other areas but it is a nice resort if you want to get away from everything.

We have stayed at both. My kids prefer the All Star Movies. They get a thrill out of all the eye candy and the playgrounds. Coronado Springs is really nice however, and your kids will love either one. We tend to choose the hotel by length of stay. If we are going for a quick weekend (1-2 nights) and will be spending most of our time in the park, then we usually opt for an All Star. If we are going for longer than a couple of days then we tend to stay at a moderate or above because we will be spending more time at the hotel and the moderate have more activities (ie biking, fishing, boating, more pools, restaurants, bigger bars:rolleyes: , etc.).

You will have a good time either way!:)

I have stayed at both and I would definitely stay at Coronado given the choice (and the price differece you described). There are more amenities and to me, it felt more like a resort.

We just returned from a stay at the CSR. It was wonderful. The nicest moderate resort they have! The Pepper Market was incredible. The CSR has a resort feeling to it, while the ASMo seems more like a motel.

My family prefers the ASMo over CS. ASMo is more colorful, playful, disney-esque (is that a word?). CS is very well themed, but not as appealing to kids as ASMo.
We don't care for the Pepper Market.... it's a food court that wants to be a restaraunt when it grows up. If my DD wants to dance around the table I feel comfortable that it's okay at ASMo, but not appropriate for Pepper Market.
We have found that the overall feel of CS is more 'formal' so we prefer All Stars which is more 'fun'.

I have stayed at both and at first book ASMovies for my june trip. I wasn't excites because I don't have little kids so I did take CS. My son is 20 so I thought for us CS was the bwter choice. I think the movies is geared more to the younger kids. I think of CS as an adult resort. I don't think they can have as many kids to play with when out near the pool. :D

We have stayed at both. Both are nice resorts, and CSR has more perks (although nothing I consider significant).
My guess is kids would like AS better. Although the pool area at CSR would please anyone, at any age. And that way the adults have a hot tub. Kids have the fun pool. :)
But that said, the best service all the way around we have experienced is at the AS. (Go figure.)
Either one would be good. :)
The food court at AS would be cheaper than CSR. But the food isn't as good at AS. You get what you pay for.
