These pics are from our stay in Sept 2011. We originally were supposed to be renting points and staying at Boardwalk Villas but that fell through literally 3 days before check-in. Turns out to be the best thing that could have happened! We really enjoyed the layout of this resort. The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed walking the paths. The transporation system worked great for us. A convention was there, but, we didn't feel the impact of the people. Our ONLY inconvenience was that the buses didn't go to the other resorts, only the parks. Most of our ADRs were made based upon us staying at BWV so, we did take a couple taxis to the Boardwalk and Yacht Club for dinners. Other than that small glitch, we couldn't find a thing wrong with this resort!!!!

There is free wifi?

We just booked our vacation for the end of August. Fourth year in a row @ CSR. :cool1:

Yup! They actually rolled it out while we were there in October. I believe all the moderates have some wifi now. CSR was the first moderate to receive it due to the fact it is a convention resort.

Just booked Sept 7-12 for my family and some friends! It'll be our first CSR stay. Even better with FREE DINING!

Ok guys, we are staying at CSR, first time going to WDW, dates are may 22-29, and we are debating on eating at Maya Grill one night....but keep hearing bad things...how's the food? I'de like to hear from some real CSR fans. lol

The CSR really is a fantastic resort :goodvibes. I stayed there at the end of May 2011 and into the first week of June, and loved every minute of it :lovestruc. The grounds are beautiful, as you can see in these wonderful pictures throughout this thread. The rooms are nicely decorated, and the pool is great. When I was there I got a little tired of the food court. Though the food was always good, the service was not. I encountered maybe 3 nice, pleasant CM's at the Pepper Market (the drink station, and the greeters) the whole time. I enjoyed the one meal I had at the Maya Grill, and I also thought the gift shop was great as well. Overall, I would highly recommend this resort. It is a little large, but its size and beauty are perfect for the days when you need to relax a little from the busy parks.

As for the "Disney feel", it depends on if you're talking about level of service, or theming...it certainly has the level of service that I've come to expect from Disney, but I'm not so sure this resort has a lot of Disney theming compared to the other resorts I've stayed at, but for me that didn't take away anything from my experience. There was just enough Disney to keep me reminded that I was in fact in Disney World, which is nice when you are like me and get tired of the more boldly themed resorts if you have an extended stay (which, don't get me wrong, are also nice, but have a completely different feel).

Leaving tomorrow for CSR can't wait to check in. How are the crowds right now?
