I am soooo psyched about our upcoming CSR trip and extra happy to learn that fireworks can be seen from the dig site!---does anyone have pics of these from anywhere around CSR?

CSR---has got to be the most beautiful resort---I love checking out all fo these posts---thanks all!

I dont have any pics but we were in Casitas block 5 facing the lake and we had an awesome view of the fireworks

Yes, all of the rooms now have the new look. The furniture, bedding, etc. prior to the rehab was in desperate need of replacement. The old "theme" never bothered us, but we definitely prefer the new theme.

Oooh!! This is a FAB thread! We considered going to POR Riverside this year (were there in 2007 and loved it) but decided to try something different so heading to CSR in July! Sooooooooooooo excited now that I've seen this thread it looks amazing!!

Thank you. Current camera is a Sony DSLR-A550.

The lens was a Tamron 10-24mm F3.5-4.5 'ultra-wide'...it gives a 35mm equivalent of 15mm on my camera, which is extremely wide - about 111 degrees. So you can stand very close to something and still get it all in the shot. Ultra-wide lenses are a lot of fun for the different perspective they give!

Does anybody have pictures of a Junior Suite? I am considering this resort for my trip next year and wondered if anybody had photos of a regular Junior suite. I have 2 girls who are not used to sharing a bed and its between here and Port Orleans because they offer a trundle bed.

I saw the pictures way back in June 08 but was not sure what type of suite that was and it did not show any pictures of the bedroom or sleeping arrangements.

No pictures of a suite, but have pics of our room. Requested Cabanas 9B or Casitas 3, 4 or 5 and got Cabanas 8A. I had faxed only a day early and told them we wanted to be central to everything and we were really close to dig site and bus stop 4, but a little longer walk to el centro. Worked out fine. Here is our room - 8231, a corner room with water view.
