Coronado Fans-PLEASE POST WITH REVIEWS & RECENT PHOTOS!

I agree!! The PM is terrific!

Every trip we make to WDW includes a visit to PepperMarket!
Especially when on the DDP.
Take a bus from what ever park you are at and stop in for a great
meal. From Amazing Nacho's to a really good deal on a Steak, the
PepperMarket is one of our Favorit counter services.
If you are on the Dining plan...it is your best meal for the money!
We kept a printout of all the meals we had on the free dining plan
last year...(always remember to ask for one at checkout!) and were
shocked to see how much money we saved by having the plan...:scared1:

Rehab is starting in October of this year to all of the rooms. They will start at one end of the resort and work their way around the resort. I don't think it will be anything that will interfere with a stay at the resort. Normally they work from 8:00 to 5:00 (or close to those hours) while people are at the parks.
I heard there was a pool under construction right now.

You are thinking of the Caribbean (which is scheduled to be done 9-15). The Jaguar Slide at the Dig Site pool was worked on earlier this year and done by late April. The pool was never closed during the rehab on the slide at th CSR.

WHEW Ok, I'm so excited we leave on the 18th and get there early like 9 am so we are planning to head right to a park. We are on our honeymoon and suggestions for room request?:thumbsup2

Depends on what you want to be close to. If the food court, Casitas 1 or the Cabanas (9 or 8--Buzz knows for sure). We prefer the Casitas--4 or 5. It is about a five minute walk to the main building and an eight minute walk to the Dig Site Pool. We like 4 and 5 because they are close to the Fitness Center/Spa and quiet pool which we use on our trip. Plus after our day at the park, we like to take a walk around the courtyard of the Casitas after the sun has gone down and walk among the fountains with the lights on--it is simply beautiful.

Ok I will see if they will take our request. I'm so excited I haven't been to Disney since I was 16. At 28 it's going to be even better going on a honeymoon!! :lovestruc

I love this resort! I can't wait for the queen beds! What a great perk for a mod. I hope we can get one of the updated rooms in January.

I can't wait until people start coming back with reports on the refurb, I'm sure some of those going starting in Oct. will have news!

If anyone is going soon....and if you dont mind....could you please keep track of the snack credits the CS allows on the Dining plan. We are going in Sept. and would really love to know. Thanks in advance for your help! :drinking1 :stir: popcorn::

We are in single digits now - 9 days to go - we are eating CS on the DDP on arrival so we can check it out right away.

As we are arriving fairly late due to flight times, I don't hold out a great deal of hope in getting Cabanas 9 or Casitas 4 - I'll request it at the front desk but I am not too concerned where we end up in resort really - don't mind a bit of a walk actually and like it to be quiet (ie pool view definitely not necessary). Maybe we'll just ask for a 'non parking lot' view - what do you think - are there any really bad locations in resort?

I am new to the DIS boards and this is my first post lol.....I will be at CS from the 15-22 for my honeymoon.I requested Casitas building 4 with a king not sure if thats even possible but we will see.I cant wait no kids.CS looks so pretty we stayed 2 yrs ago at POR with 3 of our 4 boys and we liked it as well. This will only be my 2nd trip as a adult to Disney lol I have been 3 times 2 times as a child.I cant wait. The wedding is on the 9th.Im so excited for both the wedding and honeymoon.

As far as I am concerned, there are NO bad locations at the resort. I am sure you will be fine wherever you end up. But here is some pixiedust: that you get the section you requested.

:fish: :fish: I'd like to say thanks to Buzz2001 and everyone else who has posted execellent info and pics on CSR. Had reservations at ALMusic w/Dining Plan - arriving the Saturday before Thanksgiving and leaving the Saturday after. It will be me, DH, DD 20 and DS 15. DH really wanted to stay at CSR and ya'll all helped make the decision. Last Friday, DH upgraded to CSR. :woohoo: We haven't been to WDW in almost 10 years and we can't wait. Kids were little the last time we went. No diapers or bottles this time. We're all set....even reservations at restaurants.

There's not to much that hasn't been answered, but I have one question that I haven't seen the answer to. Being from Louisiana, my DS loves fishing. Is fishing allowed from the banks of the lake or in restricted areas and is a license required? We're driving and it wouldn't be a problem for him to bring what he would need instead of renting a cane pole as listed in a previous post. This DS would get up right before sunrise just to throw his line in before we start our day. This would be ultimate for him. We'd appreciate any help.

You are going to LOVE Coronado Springs. We're going to be there from
Nov 19th -26.
The wet burrito at The Pepper Market is as good as a La Casa burrito.
