Coronado at night

We just switched to stay at the Coronado & I was looking around for pictures to see what it is like. I stumbled on 1 that shows fireworks. Is there some sort of night entertainment on the water?

No, you're seeing the evening fireworks from one of the parks.

There is no night time show at CSR, but it is absolutely beautiful at night!! I would say the resort is more stunning all lit up at night than it is during the day.

From certain parts of the resort you can see the high fireworks from EPCOT and MK. Reports are that the new Star Wars show at DHS has great views from CSR, but I haven't seen it for myself yet.

As the pp said, there is no night time show but the resorts is beautiful all lit up at night! It's a very peaceful setting.

DHS is closest; you can see fireworks from the Star Wars show quite clearly from the Cabanas area, and the bridge crossing the lagoon at that point. I saw the (previous) Frozen fireworks from there, and it was quite wonderful!

Nope, these look smaller than a park & directly on the water. Maybe it was just a 1 time thing.

Being that those pics are from a convention planning website I would guess that a convention did that. I've never seen or heard of anything like that happening at CSR.

Convention organizers will sometimes pay Disney for a fireworks display at a private party. Since CSR is a convention resort, that may have been what you saw.

Yes, there has been groups that pay for their own show at the resort.
