For you cooks who make cornbread stuffing for your turkeys, where do you get your cofnbread from:

Homemade, bakery, other? Thanks.

Homemade. Nothing but southern style cornbread dressing for us on holidays.
If you need a simple recipe just follow the one on the Quaker brand cornmeal if it's available in your area. Other brands should have a recipe too.:) Oh, I use the white cornmeal.

Thank you for the info. I will check out the recipe. I also found some good sausage recipes on Jimmy Dean.com for stuffing.

Depending on your stuffing recipe, bake some fresh ingredients right in your batter. For example, homemade cornbread that I bake for dressing includes fresh minced celery, sage leaf, thyme and onions--all fresh nothing dried.
