Corn dog cutbacks?

What happened to the massive corn dogs? I had one yesterday, and I swear 1/4 of it was missing! They used to be much bigger! Has Disney "cut back" (literally) on the corn dogs?

I had one a few days ago, and I can't imagine it being any bigger...it was the biggest one I've ever seen....and super-yummy too!

Don't get me wrong - it was still mighty tasty and still really big! But, they used to be the size of a small baseball bat (I swear!). And not that I need to be eating that much fried batter and hot dog, but I was expecting the same wow factor of previous purchases. Just an observation

I had one on Saturday from DCA and when I was 3/4 done with it I realized why I never eat one by myself. I can't finish them! They still looked massive to me.

I used this exact phrasing once... and then another time I said it looked like a Flintstone cave man club! Those corn dogs are MASSIVE! So good though!

Last year (around this time of year i think)....the food & wine festival was going on. I got a "chili-cheese infused" corny dog & my experience was just like yours....about 3/4ths the size of the original. No problem since it cost the same & i got the healthy infusion .

twinkleberry, is the F&W going on now? Could your situation be similar?

& my last regular corny dog at the Corn Dog Palace was good sized. About the size of a police baton.

Please don't tell me things are getting bigger .... we just could not get over how HUGE the food serving sizes were in the US. Until we learnt the best way to share the meals around amongst us, Half of everything we bought went in the bin! At the restaurants in DTD, even I would have had no chance of finishing the kids sized meals they served up for my girls.

I found a menu form 2006 and the following site says they have them.

Last week - same huge and yummy size from the corn dog castle in CA and another at the Mainstreet vendor in DL. It’s a family tradition to have the corn dogs and Tigger tails.
