With all the construction walls coming down around the LMR attraction, the Corn Dog Castle Vendor stand is opened. Also the gift shop which is right between the Corn Dog stand and LMR is also opened. It was once called Souvenir 66 is now called Seaside Souvenirs. I got this report from a friend at DCA right now and all are opened.

Yes! While they served corn dogs other places while the castle was closed, you can't get the hot link corn dog anywhere but at Corn Dog Castle. If you haven't had one before, you're overdue!

I'm so excited. I love the corndogs. I know Disnyland has the red cart with corndogs but I enjoy the ones at California Adventure more (don't really know why I think those ones are better but I do)

DH read somewhere that those are the best corn dogs in the country. We are looking forward to trying them.

I just read this and gasped! :yay: I am so very excited they are open again. Now I just have to wait one more year to eat those delicious dogs! :sad2:

Thanks for posting this fantabulous info OP. :thumbsup2

Now we need confirmation that they are still great tasting & the size of Padewan Alec's forearm?

Pics?

hound <-----loves hot link corny dogs.....& regular corny dogs...& ALL Castle corny dogs.

:)

Are these the same corn dogs as the ones at the red corn dog cart on Main Street? If so, oh my gosh. Nice to have more than one location.

I can't confirm that there are still great tasting, but I haven't met a corn dog I didn't enjoy.

What I really want to try, is eating in the shade. In Jory29's bottom photo, you can see a low cirular planter under a tree on the left. They put several of these in and I think they will be a nice, quiet cool seating area.

If you happen to check out Miceage's latest update this morning, you will see that Disney did indeed put some shaded areas so folks can eat without the sun blasting down on them. I'm glad to see the imagineers made a point to put in way more trees than DCA originally had, so that way the park has a greener feel to it and more shade options. Nothing makes a park have a cheap feel to it when all you see is concrete. I follow the updates almost daily and DCA is looking real good. I really look forward to going there in August.

When I go to DL this weekend, I will go over to the Corn Dog Castle and order the hot linked corn dog. I heard it was really good.

Great photos of Seaside Souvenirs jory29. :thumbsup2
