This may not be new, but I heard that while at Ok State, Les had a benign brain tumor that was removed successfully. He’s, however been experiencing the same headaches that he did before and plans to resign at the end of the year. May be nothing to it, but it came from a pretty good source.

I knew the Les Miles jokes would come, but this really is suppose to be true and if so, it's not a humorous matter.

This rumor first came out about three or four weeks ago. So far it looks like there is nothing too it.

As far as I can tell it originated on a message board.

When was the last time Auburn won a Championship? I'll take our 'dumb' coach with a ring over Gene Chizik any day. :thumbsup2

Even Larry Coker got a ring at Miami, would you take him? Auburn is on the rise, and our 2004 team is still better than any of your championship teams.

You hit the meat of your season now though. Good thing you don't play in the Pac-10.
Auburn looks good, but they also made Kentucky look good.

Les Miles is probably the worst coach of an elite program in college football (Randy Shannon and Lane Kiffin are close). He has been amazingly lucky in a lot of these end of game situations and if he stays around long enough, that luck will turn around and he'll be gone before you know it. The man clearly is not particularly intelligent and is a shockingly poor game manager for a man in his position. He makes the opposite decision that widely held football logic and percentages would dictate way too often.

Are you THE Lou Holtz? Of ESPN? :thumbsup2

Auburn will be extremely lucky to win the next two. We still have plenty of issues, but we are extremely young.

Got to love the Dr. Lou segments.

I didn't hear that yet. He doesn't always lose games, but when he does he wins them!!

Of Notre Dame, Arkansas, South Carolina, Minnesota, North Carolina State, William & Mary, Ohio State assistant, and most gloriously, the New York Jets.

Well, I am originally from Ohio (the Ohio Valley, near YOUR hometown), have lived in North Carolina and now in South Carolina! I am your biggest fan :cheer2:... I must be following you around...
