Coranado versus pop

Both are well themed! I think it depends on who is in your party. Kids would probably love the POP with all the huge colored icons and a really cool pool, but Coronado has a great, relaxing feel for adults! The kids will have fun anywhere though. Coranado springs is beautiful, but sometimes feels a little empty since it serves as the convention center. At POP there's always something fun going on. One thing is certain - you won't go wrong either way! I hope you enjoy your stay wherever you end up!

I switched from POP to Coronado for my stay beginning next week. I'll be happy to report back about Coronado as we are staying in a standard room also.

Both are nice. Coronado is nicer, I do like the preferred rooms there because it is so large and can be a walk to the food court and bus stop. I like the beds better there too, they are really nice. You get a little more room. DD loved ASMo and Pop when she was younger, the themes are wonderful.

We've stayed at both. CSR is quiet and beautiful, the pool is awesome, water slide, kids pool. Th only bad we saw was the food court was very limited. Almost to the point we said we may not go back. POP was fun, loved the theme, and had a great food court with a wonderful selection. We were honestly deciding between the two this time to qualify for free dining, and we went with CSR. The main reason, we are going thanksgiving week and figured with the crowd levels high, it is a quiet resort to go back to. Even when it's 100% booked! you can't tell. We just decided to time our counter service meals someplace else. CSR also has queen beds compared to doubles at POP.
