We have two rooms booked at Coronado Springs 12/9-12/19 and will be faxing a room request for Cabanas building 9B or for Casitas buildings 1 or 3 which all seem about equally close to the food court, main bus stop, etc. Any suggestions as to which section, Cabanas or Casitas, would be better in terms of location, room quality, theming, etc would be appreciated. Thanks.

We stayed there in June and requested building 8A and it was Perfect!!!! I would suggest that.

Oh, and welcome!

Sorry, I can't help you. Our favorite area by far is the Ranchos - Rachos 7B to be exact. The Ranchos have the best theme and landscaping and 7B is really close to the main pool, a quiet pool, and a bus stop. It's also just a short walk over a lovely bridge to the main building. It's not quite as close to the main building as the others you mentioned, but we didn't find the walk bad at all. It's such a nice way to start your day!

We stayed at the Ranchos (7b) and will request that section on future visits to CSR as well. Love the ranchos section-quiet and peaceful and it is themed better than the other 2. We did think the cabanas were nicer than the casistas which didn't fit us at all. Good luck.

It depends on what you want to be closer to. Check out my website below

Well, we will be staying at CSR for the first time this coming Feb and after all of our research we decided to request a non-smoking room in the Casitas section.

We went with Casitas as we wanted to be close to the main building, a pool and the Health Club. I did not request a specific building.
