My DH wants to do the sea trek in Coral World. If my DD and I book coral world scenic drive can we all go and come back together?

I believe you can. When we were there in October we all went together. After your husband does the sea trek he will be able to explore. We did the private turtle swim and had plenty of time to hang out. They came and got us to go back early if we wanted. They give you a wristband as soon as you get there so they know what you're doing there. FYI- the photos of us doing the turtle swim was only $25 for the whole thing which is on a flash drive. It is a steal. They took a picture every minute I believe! And you can view before you purchase. Letting you know in case your interested. I had heard dolphin swims and other excursions cost hundreds of dollars for those pics so I was floored with the $25.

Just chiming in to say that DH and I did Sea Trek at Coral World and loved it. Tell your DH to be prepared to be a little exhausted afterwards; walking around in the cool water is weirdly draining even though it's not really physically rigorous. You will also be able to accompany him out on the platform and wait and watch there while he does the activity.

I've been there and would recommend the sea lion encounter too. We loved it!

This is great thank you. We would have done the trek but my daughter doesn't weight enough. So we can opt to the sea lion encounter or turtle swim once we arrive? I don't think those were optional excursions through Disney.

I'd like to know this as well. We are deciding on our excursions for sept. We have a 3 year old with us and the coral world ones seemed great. Can we book these for the timeslot while we are on "free time" during the excursions? And can we book directly with them?

I'm not sure if you can book directly with them while on a DCL excursion. We have gone twice, first time with DCL where we did the park and the submarine tour - great for smaller kids.

The 2nd time we booked our own transportation for the day which included a stop at Coral World. We booked directly with them for the Sea Lion encounter. If you choose to do this, it isn't too expensive to take a taxi there and back. It would probably be less expensive and less restrictive time wise to do it on your own.

Have fun!

I'm no sure either but I booked through shore excursions group? I think. Definitely don't wait until the day of. We had people on our trip who were not able to get what they wanted. I will say the turtle swim was awesome. It was about an hour, they do a quick 10-15 minute intro of how to touch the turtles, habitat, etc. I think everyone has to be 5 ft maybe? It says in the description. When you get in you have to go to one spot so they can film and also so the turtles know you are there to play with them. They are very interactive and HUGE. They don't look that big but they are... and heavy. Good luck. I loved the guy who ran our time in the turtle cove and thought he did a great job. I hear rave reviews about the sea trek and sea lions too! It was tough to decide what we wanted.
