We get an ADR for right when it opens and usually can get an aquarium seat. Family tradition.

We were there yesterday. Would not recommend for families with elementary age children. Food choices are limited for kids and even the kids desserts were not very good. We asked to be near the aquarium but were given table against back wall so kids couldn’t even see the fish without standing. Servers were pleasant. Never again. Too many good choices at EPCOT.

I think the majority of people probably ask for this which is the problem. I've been trying for years for the coveted table - asked politely, didn't ask one year, said we would wait until close another - but I'm pretty sure there's a note on my secret disney file somewhere to make sure we are always seated as far away as possible, lol. I've yet to get closer than the back wall.

On the same thought I really want to book fireworks dining but not sure I can handle the devastation of inevitably getting the worst seat available
