Tell me your recent thoughts? This is on my maybe list for an upcoming trip. Two people, granddaughter (age 17) and myself.

It's not great IMO. The food isn't really worth the cost but the atmosphere is great if anyone in your party is a fan of fish/aquariums. You are not guaranteed a table near the aquarium and I'm not sure if you are able to request one, you might be able to depending on how busy the restaurant is.

Our food was good, not great. We have been twice since 2020. Nice atmosphere. I would go back.

To be completely honest, we tried it decades ago and had more than one bad experiences, so it was off our list for awhile. About 2 years ago, we decided to give it another try and thought it much better. It's certainly not a must-do for us, but we no longer avoid it. We were there in December and had a nice meal with excellent service.

We did not go there our last trip in November but have had lunch there other times and really enjoyed it.

I was there in December and it was o.k. I wasn't close to the aquarium but you can see from anywhere in the place. My food wasn't bad but I had shrimp and grits and it's pretty hard to ruin that. I had never eaten there and got a day of ADR so figured why not. I have been diving twice in the aquarium and one of the best parts was waving at the kids in the restaurant so it was fun seeing from the other side.

The bulk of the tables are NOT next to the aquarium and if you aren't on that bottom terrace the view isn't great. It is also a very loud restaurant with mediocre food. I think there are much better options but Disney food isn't really shining these days so everything is a risk.

It used to be one of the impossible ADRs to get - and now any given day has many times available. :scratchin

The last time we ate there (several years ago) we were seated next to the aquarium. the sea turtle settled right by us which was cool until some parents allowed their child to run up to the glass between our chairs and the chairs at the table behind us and stand there, yelling back at them about the cool turtle for a really long time. Then I found a hair in my dessert. Haven’t been back since.

Been twice and been deeply disappointed in the food both times. Given all of the wonderful World Showcase restaurants at Epcot, I don't see us going back to Coral Reef for many years if at all, unless they ever do some kind of drastic makeover on the food side and people start raving about it.

Its been years since we ate there for this very reason. LOVED the aquarium. The food wasn't bad, but far from special for the price.

It's been a few years since we've been there, but we really enjoyed both times we ate there. Once we were seated in the top tier and once right next to the aquarium.

You will get mixed reviews. We absolutely love Coral Reef and it has become a must do every trip for us. We've only ever had great food and service there. The atmosphere is great.

I don't know, shrimp and grits is thought to originate in my Hometown. It's one of my husband's favorite dishes. He sure had a lot to say about the quality of their recipe compared to what we get back home 🤣.

We ate there last year for the first time ever after nearly 20 trips to DW. We always avoided it because of the horrible reviews. We were pleasantly surprised by how good it was. We saw some recent dining reviews saying it was pretty good and the prices aren't too bad compared with a lot of the other TS restaurants we eat at. We are giving it a try again this summer to see if it is consistent. I would say make sure you are listening to people who have been there recently. There are a lot of people that were there 5 to 10 years ago and had a bad experience so never went back. We are currently like this with Ohana.

If you're interested and have the time, I say go and make the decision for yourself. Outside of the few special Walt Disney World restaurants, you mostly go for the special atmosphere and experience. Yes there are some that have amazing food, but depending on where you live, you can normally find better food around your own hometown. What you can't find is eating an aquarium. I would never go there for amazing seafood, but I live along the ocean in a city that is well known for its seafood. Do most people really think Space 220 is worth the food, no. People sign up by the droves because of the unique experience. However if you are looking for a premium seafood dining experience, there are other places around Disney Springs and the local area that will probably serve you better. If you're looking for a great family atmosphere that serves OK food and a one of a kind eating experience, this is probably going to be great for you.

We were there yesterday. Would not recommend for families with elementary age children. Food choices are limited for kids and even the kids desserts were not very good. We asked to be near the aquarium but were given table against back wall so kids couldn’t even see the fish without standing. Servers were pleasant. Never again. Too many good choices at EPCOT.

Went twice recently was one of the better restraints. A few items were a bit over salted but the meats were really good. Combined with an aquarium front seat, it’s a very nice experience with a great value of you split. If they ever switch to pre fixe that would kick it off my list.

We went last trip November, we were disappointed food was so so, it was some what into the reopening period so maybe that had something to do with it but it will be a while before we go back there
