Coral Reef

we all loved this place. there were 6 of us. we all had different things, and 3 of us do not eat any kind of seafood. i loved the pork chops. this is the only place we are dining at again for our next trip. there is not a bad seat in the house. our waiter was great...definatly go with the chocolate wave desert.

It was just okay for us. I was a little disappointed. My husband's steak was okay. My chicken was pretty good. The kids mac and cheese was disgustingly bad...over cooked mush! But that seems to be the trend for mac and cheese anywhere at Disney so I can't blame Coral Reef for that!

The aquarium is fabulous! Mickey himself had jumped in while we were there!! I didn't know he did that!!! The desserts were also very good. The Chocolate Wave is wonderful!

Coral Reef tends to be hit or miss. I hope you have a good experience with it!! The atmosphere is wonderful!!

Wow! Mickey jumped in the tank! That's so cool. My DD would love to see that. May I ask if you were there for lunch or dinner? :goodvibes

Thanks for starting this thread OP. :flower3: I was wondering the same thing. I want to do the Candlelight Processional package and was thinking of trying Coral Reef or Le Cellier. What do you all prefer, lunch or dinner? Thanks so much!

I have a PS for the Reef for our next trip. ONe thing I noticed though, most of the desserts contain alcohol. Can you custom order a non-alcoholic Chocolate Wave?

Well, count me among the people who've never been impressed by the food at CR....it's always been a bit hit or miss to me, and I much prefer doing DiveQuest so I can be one of the divers in the water playing with the diners by the window....that is far & away better than dining on the inside...:)
