Give me your comments good and bad, what you had to eat, favorites, etc. thanks! Looking at going at dinner time.

We just went there for the first time at the end of May and we thoroughly enjoyed it. You cant go wrong here. Ask for Jenny, she was a great server.

I had the lobster soup appetizer and steak. My wife had the Mahi Mahi. All of the food was outstanding.

I just called for my ADRs and there were only 2 dinner times available for Coral Reef (4:10 or 8:40pm) during my 5 night vacation in Sept. It must be popular!

We're eating there when we go down to Disney the last week in August. I've heard alot of great things about it & everyone has told me to request a table near the tank!

Coral Reef - we ate there last week. Just wonderful.

Our DS had the Shrimp without the cocktail.
The kids all had the Glowing Blue Whale drink.

The cream of mushroom soup and mixed green salad were wonderful.

We ordered the grilled mahi mahi, chicken breast, salmon and triton's pasta.
All tasted great.

for dessert we shared a chocolate wave and California gold. - yummy

Our table was next to the tanks. We saw sharks, many fish, the turtle fell asleep next to our table, the divers came by and entertained the guest eating at Coral Reef.

We totally recommend Coral Reef.

I ate there three weeks ago with my son. It was fabulous! I had the Mahi Mahi with Israeli Couscous. It was delicious and perfectly done. DS had pizza  We had the 50th celebration orange dessert as well.

I love the food, but I love LOVE the atmosphere. It is dimly lit...not DARK, but dim enough that the bright sun and heat of Florida are instantly forgotten. The view of the tanks is amazing, and there are often divers in the tanks. It's a lot of fun and I love coming back here.

Did you read my review in the Disney Dining Reviews Sub-
Forum? We loved Coral Reef and highly recommend it! Make sure you try the Chocolate Wave!!!!! :goodvibes

I had this when we went in December and I agree, it was excellent. I didn't care for the couscous because the Israeli type is very big---like tiny green pea sized. But it's a "me" thing because of the texture, not that it tasted bad. My son had the kid's mac & cheese...I thought for sure he'd hate it because 1) he's a Kraft kid and 2) it's white. But he said that it was good.

Eat there a few times, never had a bad meal.

We LOVE it! We have been lucky enough to get a table near the tank the two of the three times we've eaten there and have enjoyed watching the divers and fish up close. I'm not sure if you can request a table, but I think we'll try this year - just to be sure. While all the tables have a good view of the tank, I think the proximity adds to the magic of the undersea feel. My favorite menu item is the Lobster Bisque- the best I've ever had. The kids deserts are fabulous - the Build your own Sundae is adorable! There's a chocolate flag on the top of the ice crea that reads "My Sundae." Too cute! Enjoy!

I really like CR, something about the tank and the dim lights really relaxes me. I see a lot of negative reviews about this restaurant, but I've always enjoyed myself. :thumbsup2

I don't think there is a bad table view in the entire restaurant. We ate there last week and it is just beautiful in there. I had the crab cake and it was good- not my favorite-but it was good. The lobster bisque was also good. I really liked the bread they served. I had the butterscotch brulee for desert- I have to admit, the maple brulee at LeCellier was much tastier though.

I say go there- it's a lovely place with good food :thumbsup2

My kids LOVED this restaurant. The atmosphere is worth it. The kids' sundae is great. The food was O.K., not great, in my opinion. I had the crab cake and it was so peppery (is that a word???) that I couldn't eat it. I didn't mind, though, as we enjoyed the restaurant so much. The Blue Whale drink is so cute, too!
