We will be dinning at the Coral Reef this August and my wife might want to try the King Crab Legs, has anyone had them if so how are they. Also the Pork Chop sounds tasty has anyone had that.

Any opinions are welcomed.
Thanks

My wife had the crab legs and loved them...they're easy to eat, too!

I had the catfish...it was recommended by our server and I enjoyed that. It's a bold, tasty dish.

I know most people dont order apps (especially now that they are not included on the DDP) but the land and sea app is the greatest thing there, in my opinion.

they were REALLY good. they are also already opened for you so no work!!!

Is this the restaraunt at Epcot that is in the Living Seas? We are starting to plan our trip & I was told that the restaraunt that is in the Living Seas is great - both food & atmosphere.

DBF had the crab legs, I think they were his favorite thing throughout our trip. Beware the brandied cherries in the chocolate wave...they are pure alcohol!

Had the blackened catfish and chocolate wave for lunch one day last week - was one of my favorite meals of the trip... even better - it was just a walk-up, no ADR, for an early lunch and we got a "window" seat :)

the land and sea app is the greatest thing there, in my opinion.

That appetizer was wonderful.
The mahi-mahi entree was so tender and flavorful. The waiter assured me "never frozen" and I believe him.
:thumbsup2 I put that on the top of my list for best meals!

Another vote for the catfish. It is really good. I can't wait to have it again in June. :thumbsup2

AND, the chocolate wave is yummy!

I had the crab legs last time and they were FANTASTIC! Dh always gets they NY Strip (he doesnt care for seafood as much as me) and always says its fab. Food here is great and always one of the best the entire stay at Disney!

We really enjoy the Coral Reef, we have avoided it for years because we don't eat sea food! But after having a less than agreeable lunch at Le Cellier we called disney dining and they offered us Coral Reef- The CM said there are many non seafood choices so we went for it. We sure are glad we did!
First time we had steak and my DD had a chicken dish all were very good and service was also very good.
Last trip we went again for our anniversary lunch and we both had the pork chop and enjoyed it very much. They even made up special Anniversary menus for us.
It will be at the top of our list next trip also.

Hi
The Mahi-Mahi was delicious!! I've had it twice and it was great both times. You would never even known that you were eating fish. Also, the chocolate wave is one of the best desserts at DW!!

I also enjoyed the catfish, and my sister enjoyed the lobster soup/salad combo. Didn't even save room for dessert; will try a wave next time.

Actually one of the very best things at Coral Reef is the bread. We polished off 2 baskets. There were 3 of us and one was only 5yo :guilty:

We were there for Lunch: I loved my BBQ Salmon sandwich and the 5yo loved his pizza. He ordered the apple slices w/o the added sugar topping and ate all of both things. He and I had fun making and eating our make your own sundaes. Yes, my dessert came from the kids menu. We also shared a kids banana split at Narcoossee's. What can I say those grown up desserts can be just so foo foo to me...lol.

i actually had the sirolin steak and it was delicious!! I am not big on fish, and my mom had the chicken and loved it too-- i think everything would be good at coral reef:thumbsup2

Gotta holla for the catfish and cheese grits!!!! YUM!!! The chocolate wave's not bad either!
