How far in advance do you have to request this - do you think its too late to call and request a May dinner time... I think it would be a huge surprise for my daughter and hubby... I would do it to surprise them...

I think it is always good to call early however I didn't call (didn't know how to do it!) till like 3 weeks ago and set it up for March 15 with no problem. So it was only like 5 weeks out.

Debbi just got back with me. She said that they "can not promise a tank side table however we do try to get you as close as possible so that you will be able to see the dive banner." How many of you have not sat tank side to view your banner? Now I'm worried!

She told me the same thing. I am not too worried about it though. I am sure that they will sit us somewhere that we can see and I can always get up to snap a picture. I can't wait to see DS's face! Just have to keep quiet until August so I don't ruin the surprise!

I spoke to Debbi yesterday and she said she was going to email me the information about the menus and diver. Does it take a few days for the email? I was thought she said she was emailing me at that moment when I was on the phone with her. Should I give her a call again to make sure she got me email correct?

I need to come up with a phrase to put on the banner....
My best friend and her family are joining us at WDW for their very first trip... so after hearing about the divers and personalized menus, I decided to try to make their trip memorable. She is a Pooh nut and I want to try to incorporate that into her sign... I know it needs to be short, but don't know exactly what to say.... (not using their real name here)

Something to this effect.... Pooh welcomes the "Adam's Family" to WDW! or something like that....

Any ideas?

Also thought of putting the lyrics of the pooh song on the menu....

I am wondering the same thing, I spoke to her on Wed or Thurs and she said she would be e-mailing me that day, It is Monday and I still haven't heard. I think if I don't hear from her by tonight I will give her a call tomorrow.

I made reservations for Sept 5th at Coral Reef today and already put my call in! Hopefully I'll hear back from her within a week, otherwise I'm calling again! Does anyone know the number for the cake hotline?! Its my boyfriends birthday and I want to get a davy jone's cake made!

Does anyone know what times to get ressie for when the divers are there. I did see that 7:00 seemed to be a good time. Do you just chance the time and hope the divers are there then? Some people have said that they also made lunch times. I would hate to make ressie and be told that divers are not there at that time.

Our reservation is for 6:50 pm and we got a diver. Still haven't gotten my e-mail... I'm going to give her another call today.

I got an email back from Debbi yesterday stating that she had a diver booked for me for our honeymoon trip and just to send her some pictures and message for our personalize menus.

It took a few days for her to catch up with me phone and email wise, so just be patient. I'm so excited and it's surprise for my future DH and DD12

I've ordered a cake for my husband's birthday and we are going in less than a month. Once I get home I'll be sure to post a picture on this thread for you. I can't wait to see the look on his face!

I want to do the same but for my boyfriend's birthday/graduation trip at the beginning of September. I called two days ago and left a message for Deb (poor woman, I can only imagine the number of voicemails she must get a day!)..,,I know our trip isn't until the end of August, but when should I call back if I haven't heard from her, and how soon should I call the cake line?

I've been reading through this and maybe I just missed it, but what exactly is the personalized menu? And do you have to get the diver in order to get a personalized menu? I'll be down there at the end of the month with two of my friends celebrating our 25th birthdays and we have ADRs at Coral Reef for our first night. Doyou think 3 weeks out is cutting it too short??
