Thanks for the information about the spelling of her last name. I would have sent an email to some mystery person.
I have no idea whether she wants her email made public or not. She had given it to me via a phone message, but I didn't know how to spell her name, so I needed that information. Since I was not sure whether it was meant to be public or not, I asked for a PM.
I can think of one reason that CR MIGHT want a phone conversation/confirmation first before they begin email correspondence, but this is just a guess. I have heard that they only commit to a certain number of banners (birthday, anniversary, etc.) on any given night. After all, the diver can only do so much.
1. If 20 people send emails for every night, they could spend a lot of time on email tag going back and forth on why they cannot give you a sign for X night. A phone conversation is much quicker than a series of back and forth emails.
2. Perhaps they want to speak to you by phone in case they cannot accomodate you for X night, and would like to try and work with you on Y night instead. I have heard of this happening. Again, this is much easier to do via phone than email. "We can't do 7:00 on Friday. But we can do 8:10 on Wednesday or 7:30 on Tuesday."
3. Speaking on the phone is more personal.
Just a few thoughts.......... No idea if I'm right.
DD wanted me to sign off with the princess.
