coral reef portion sizes

I saw a couple of pics and they seem TINY!! My family isn't a bunch of gluttons or anything but the portions I saw in pics definitely seemed pretty small. Are all dishes here pretty small on the portion size?

when our food arrived last May, it sure did look tiny. mind you the plates were a lot bigger than normal plate. Im a biggish eater-my husbands a bigger eater, I thought we'd be hungry after. However half way through we were starting to feel vey full, we wanted to finish our meal as it was so full of flavour.

you should be ok, ive seen pics recently of meals and they look a similar size...not sure what others think.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Like the PP mentioned you think it is small, but when you are eating it you prob will end up full. I think the real problem is that some portions are way too big at other restaurants. Think quality over quantity.

We ate at Coral Reef last December. When we received our food our portions did seem small. Once we started eating, the food was more than enough to satisfy both DH and I and he's a big guy. I felt good about not wasting food.

We were on the DDP so we received dessert afterward. We were barely able to find room for dessert.

When we planned our trip I spent a lot of time here looking at food pictures and reading reviews. Sometimes while looking at pictures I would think, "Sheesh, there is NOTHING on that plate!"
As it turns out, a lot of Disney restaurants use huge plates, so once your portion is sitting all pretty in the center of it it looks small, but it isn't. You'll be fine, don't worry!
