Coral Reef Personalized Menus?

Hello

Last time I was there, I noticed the table next to us had personalized menus and was talking to the couple (who the guy did it for his partner as an anniversary surprise) and he said he got it done completely free of charge.

Do they still do these personalized menus? If so, how do I go about going this and how do I contact the Coral Reef manager to sort this out (I have the telephone number but they havent ever called back so dont need a telephone number! If any one has an email that might help? PM it me?)

If they dont do the personalized menus- is there anything else special that I can request (not a cake)?

They used to do a personalized menu with pictures you emailed them and the diver in the tank would show a sign with your personal message on it and through up shells as confetti inside the tank but they ended all of that last year. Sorry. I don't know what else they do now.

Oh thats a shame if they have stopped.

Does anyone know if they have completely stopped?

Yes I asked 2 times last year and the answer was a mean no!

They have stopped it.

Thanks to the internet and boards such as these, too many people were asking about it. It no longer was something "special" but instead it became expected.

1) Yes, they stopped it completely.
2) But, not because of overuse.
3) It was due to guest abuse.

• some people arrived after their ADR and missed the diver, so they actually yelled to bring the diver out again
• some people sent in so many pictures, they didn't fit the menu, then complained that their favorites were ignored
• some people could not get through on email or voice mail, then complained the eatery didn't care about guests
• in at least one case, a guest's tricky first name was misspelled, and the guest threw a full glass of wine at the aquarium
