We will be taking my parents this summer (my Dads first trip) We all love sea food and we all love a good steak. We (my Family) been to CReef befor and liked it very much-but I would love to try Le celar. I think my Mom and Dad would like to go to Coral Reef for the ambiance but I think we would have a better meal at Le Celar. Can you all give me you opinion Thanks Nettii

Le Cellier is our favorite. I will say Coral Reef is neat because of the aquarium, but food wise Le Cellier is way better in my opinion.

Neither! The last couple of times I have been to Le Cellier it was just ok and Coral Reef is nothing special. I LOVE the environment but not the food. We actually prefer Chefs de France, it is actually our 2nd fav restaurant at Disney!:goodvibes

I'm a huge fan of Coral Reef. We tried Le Cellier last year and were disappointed. We're not picky eaters or difficult people to please, but there was no comparison: my steak at Coral Reef blew away the steak at Le Cellier. And since your parents really enjoyed the ambience of Coral Reef - a word of caution - I would characterize the atmosphere at Le Cellier as "dungeon-like."

I have been to both places. Both have very good food. I don't think one is better than the other in my opinion as far as the food goes. Coral Reef is definately has nicer atmosphere. LC is also very very hard to get into cause it is very pouplar .

I do not consider Coral Reef a "seafood" restaurant anymore. They have Tuna, catfish, salmon and mahi-mahi. Practically every Disney table service restaurant has Salmon and at least one of the others.

It's a nice atmosphere with the fish tank, but if you want a nice meal go to LeCellier (if you can get an ADR).

If you want seafood, go to the Flying Fish. It;s at the Boardwalk and an easy walk thru the International Gateway in Epcot.

I forgot Narcoossee's is so good with the seafood/steak and a beautiful view.

I went with my parents back in November. It was their first time there so I really did my research on these places. Our first night we dined at Coral Reef, it was alright, nothing to write home about. Our last night we ate at Le Cellar, OMG, it was delicious! I had their filet mignon with mushroom risotto it was soooo good!!!!! There bread sticks were good too

I second this. Flying Fish has the best seafood and I've heard their steak is very good there; I wouldn't know as I can't get past the seafood.

Between Coral Reef and Le Cellier, it would be a tie for me. Both of them are just okay.

I would choose Le Cellier! I think the food there is soooo much better than CR. We do enjoy CR, but Le Cellier is definitely better, at least imo. CR does have a wonderful ambience, but the selection of seafood is pretty lame. I am a seafood lover, and have thought for awhile now that the selection of seafood at CR is poor. I did enjoy the Ahi Tuna I had there this past Jan, but still preferred Le Cellier over it. Also, CR is very very loud!

Le Cellier is so much better than Coral Reef if you are going to order steaks BUT the atmosphere is better at Coral Reef and the fish is very very good

Filet Mignon at Le cellar is " to die for " !!! We like Coral Reef also ...... why not do both !!!:banana:

We ate at both last week, and I really enjoyed both of them. I had Mahi Mahi, DH had NY Strip Steak at CR, and we both had the Mushroom Filet at LC. Both meals were very good. I agree that atmosphere-wise CR is best. I don't think you can go wrong at either place, even though CR often gets a bad rap on the boards here, I'm not certain why!
