Need some help deciding on this one for lunch. :confused3 We have ressies already at Cape May bkft and Chef Mickey (and CP & Askerhaus), so I was thinking about doing Coral REef for lunch to see the fish, rather than character lunch. However, maybe I should cancel Cape May and do Garden Grill instead? I have a DD2 and DD3- liked the idea of the views at Coral Reef as something different, but food does look good at Garden Grill- and CHipmunks! Thanks for your opinions!

We enjoy both restaurants, but I would suggest Coral Reef. You will get a really nice dining experience for the adults and the kids will thoroughly enjoy the aquarium. It's a win for everyone and will be a very memorable meal. Many will suggest trying to get a seat next to the tank, but we prefer to be on the middle tier of seating because of the panoramic view it allows; absolutely beautiful.

:thumbsup2

ive eaten at CR & its SO neat & great food

I havent eaten at GG, but i have heard its excellent!!!its a definite "to do" next trip!!!:goodvibes

We have done both of these and both would be great choices. Personally, our meal at Garden Grill was one of our best dining experiences ever, but we won a dream there. So we had fabulous character interaction, plus the perfect food. Coral Reef was great too, nothing to complain about at either. I think kids would enjoy the rotating restaurant and characters at GG, but would love the aquarium at Coral Reef, so it's just up to you! I would vote for GG though if forced to choose.

I echo that comment for Coral Reef seating. Honestly, up close could be daunting for some little ones and you can only see your portion of the tank vs the whole thing.

We had lunch, there was absolutely nothing left on our plates (little one left a bit of his sundae, ate his apple slices and pizza). We went through 2 baskets of bread :guilty:. I had the BBQ Salmon sandwich and I'm not a bbq fan, it was great! Mom had the tilapia.

Have a magical time!

I vote for Coral Reef. It's a unique experience there and we also enjoyed the food very much. The kids loved the atmosphere and were infatuated with watching the huge turtle during our meal. I think you'll enjoy Cape May character breakfast as well -- the food is very good there.

We loved Coral Reef and plan to go back with our DS2 this June! I think the view will totally make the meal for them!
