We haven't eaten at the Coral Reef since 1988 - LOL yah I know at looooong time ago. Thinking about eating there on an upcoming trip to WDW and would love to hear from folks that have eaten there recently. :thumbsup2 Good or bad, would like to hear it ! We'd like to eat dinner there, are you finding ADRs hard to come by for Coral Reef ? Thanks !! :flower3:

We ate there October 17th and had a wonderful meal. I had the Mahi Mahi and my DH had the Seafood Linguini. All 3 of our children loved their meals also. We had a tankside table and had great service. Also the creme brulee and chocolate wave were yummy!!!

We were there in August and it was fantastic! This makes our 2nd good experience there (the other Dec. 06). If you're on the DDP, there's a strawberry smoothie that's included as your drink that we all loved.

It wasn't noisy and we had no problems having a conversation. Our service was fine and my dad joked that we must have paid extra for the giant sea turtle to park himself right in front of our table all meal. :)

We certainly weren't disappointed and hope you won't be either!

We prefer to go to the Coral Reef as late as possible in the evenings. There seems to be less people, better change for an aquarium seat, and a relaxed non rushed feeling..... Coral Reef is a MUST DO DEAL BREAKER for me and my trips to the WORLD!!! :thumbsup2

Have eaten there twice this year. Once for lunch, earliest seating and it was quiet. The other time was lunch at a later time, and the place was noisy. At least 2 crying babies at all times, silverware clanging, kids running up to the tank. My husband and I gave up having a conversation.

We eat here every time we go (2-3 times per year) and I have found that the earliest lunches and the latest dinners are your best chance of a normal volume meal. If every meal were like the last one I had there, I would quit going.

We had lunch there in Sept. ressie was for 12:30. DH got Mahi Mahi and I got the steak. The meal, service, and atmosphere were great. I don't think that it was noisy. One of the best meals of the trip.

We just went on Tuesday evening and i'm sorry to say it was mediocre at best. They sat us 45 minutes after our reservation time. It was very very noisy and hectic in there. The waiter barely had time to pay attention to us. he was always scrambling to keep up...seemed like he had too many tables.

the food was ok...nothing special...it was fine. however, it was very expensive for what it was.

for similar prices, you can get much much better food at jiko (which we love)

we were just there last month and we really enjoyed it! We had the free menu made for the kids and for my dh and we also had the free scuba diver come out :) I really enjoyed my meal as did dh ( I got the steak and he got the mahi mahi) I'd say it's def worth another go :thumbsup2

Our meal there in April was a 4 out of 10. Bad service, mediocre food, noisy and just not a good night.

We will be giving it another try in a few weeks, so we will see if things have changed.

In August we spent 12 nights in WDW, had a lot of great TS meals on DDP, but Coral Reef was the best of the whole trip - if you are on DDP, it is a great choice for 1 TS.
