Coral Reef Menu and Food Pics - 4/30/08

When was your adr? How long did you have to wait to get seated?

ADR was for 6:15...
They gave us the little buzzer (which my kids loved, and fought over who gets to hold every time...the things that amuse kids surprises me sometimes)...
it went off and we were seated and enjoying our bread and drinks by around 6:40.

Tnanks for the great pics!!!! Are they still doing the neat things with the personalized menus and the divers?

Thanks Davey-D-99 :thumbsup2

Just did an ADR for here today... And FYI the guy i talked to a Disney Dinning, was SOOOOO nice... i think i could have talked to him all day long about things to do at Disney. He spoke very highly of CR

Yes...there were 2 divers in the water with greetings of Happy Birthdays and Anniversaries..Really Cool.

I got an ADR last week for October. This morning I spoke with the manager of the Coral Reef and I have a diver scheduled to deliver a sign during my anniversary dinner. I am also emailing photos to personalize our menus. Should be a big hit.

Can anyone give me the # to call to try to arrange this... I know I saw it somewhere before but Lord knows I'll never find it again!!! :rotfl2: Pretty Please and thank you!!!! :worship:

Oh yummy thanks for the pics! Do you happen to know if the crab legs are on the lunch menu too??

Do you have to request a diver or do they automatically have them during the meal?

Do you need a special occasion to request a diver?

What is the cost for a diver?

We ate here in April and loved everything. DS and I had the crab legs and they were to die for. So much food! I had a piece of DH steak and it was heavenly.

I asked if I could substitude the potatoes au gratin and broccolini and am I ever glad I did. Yummmmm...and the kids had their obligatory fries of course. No problem.

We were at epcot the day before so I popped in to ask about sitting by the glass. Only tables of 2 and 4 are available right beside the tank and I was advised to arrive 15 minutes before my res and request it at that time. When we arrived I said "I'm sure you are asked this every time, but we'd love to sit by the tank. We were seated 20 minutes later in the best table, if you ask me. It was a great experience. And our waiter was a gem. Offered smoothies and took pictures of us.

Oh, and the chocolate wave???? WOW!!!

Thanks so much for posting your meal pics and for the menu pic. I was a little relieved when I saw that there were several items that DH could choose from. :thumbsup2

Could you tell me what was listed on the kid's menu? Do they serve chicken strips (fried, not grilled) and french fries or mac-n-cheese? I have two picky eaters and these are the only things that they will eat, well DS will eat the kid's pizza, but DD is beyond picky.

Thanks! :)

You have to call CR and speak to Debbi. She arranges everything.
Any occasion will do.
It's absolutely free.:goodvibes

Can't remember all of it but I do know the kids had chioce of....
Salmon, Grilled Chicken, Mahi Mahi or Pizza, maybe Mac & Cheese as well (my kids hated the WDW mac and cheese) not sure what else.

Looks really good, thanks for posting. We have an ADR for Coral Reef in Sept! Makes me feel it was a good choice! We will ask for a glass side table!

I have reservations for sept, but I am taking two boys 3 and 7yrs old. Do you think this resturant is kid friendly, or is it more for adults?

We usually do the garden grill while at epcot but wanted something different this year. My boys love seafood. I am worrited about the atmosphere not the food.

My kids are 9 and 6 and they loved it...
They thought the divers were cool and they give the kids a list with pictures of all the fish species in the tank to spot them. The place was full of kids, I would say..no worries.
