I just posted this on the Restaurants board and thought it would also be useful here!
*********************************************************

I just wanted to update everyone. We ate at Coral Reef on 8/19 and they now have a kid's appetizer selection.

Vegetable Plate (with Carrots, Broccoli and Celery) $1.99
Mushroom or Lobster Soup $1.99

Therefore, kids are no longer entitled to get an Adult appetizer on the dining plan.

Will update more, once I get back to normal at work. (I think I might put this on the Dining Plan forum also.)

That sucks. My kids like most veggies (is it a raw veggie plate - I can't imagine celery cooked) but not raw brocolli and not celery period. My kids were really looking forward to the shrimp cocktail.

I think I'm leaning more and more to just using our 3 adult credits at restaurants and share and save the kids TS for extra CS + 2 extra snacks.

I agree, it DOES stink! My 5yo dd will not eat any of the new items. :sad2:

This is probably why the put kids items in the menu. I imagine they got tired of little 4 y/o Johnny getting a shrimp cocktail! You could always pay OOP if the kid won't eat any of the kiddie appetizers. My children never get their own appetizers anywhere we dine anyway. We share them.
