I just read that Coral Reef and The Living Seas are closed until 10/3. I have a "surprise" PS on 10/2. I have redone day 1 3 times. I REALLY want to go to a park-MGM or Epcot. I want a nice meal because we will be eating sandwiches all day on the plane.

Any suggestions of places to eat? Nothing too fancy, but still a good meal. Nothing overly adventurous on the first night either.

We have PS at :Cali Grill, 'Ohanas, 1900 Park Fare, Brown Derby, LTT, Le Cellier.

Maybe I could switch my 'Ohana PS to 10/2? Think I have a shot at getting an early PS so late in the game? Then stay and swim? Go to Epcot? AHHH!

Thanks. :(

Our 1st night tradition is to go to Chef Mickey's! The kids get some character interaction and we get a good meal!

In fact, we will be there on 10/2 at 6:00! Just a thought.

I just called Disney Dining and the CM confirmed that the Coral Reef is closed until lunch on October 4th.

I switched my PS to Brown Derby at MGM-non Fantasmic package. I tried to get Mama Melrose Fantasmic Package on the 6th of October and there was nothing available. That's ok though. We will just have to stand in line to get a good seat for the show. :)

If you're at Epcot and you want seafood, walk over to the Boardwalk and go to the Flying Fish. If it doesn't have to be seafood, LeCellier at the Canada pavilion in the World Showcase is excellent.
